I'm in PA and I received so many "You aren't registered to vote" texts. I reported them as spam. My phone is malfunctioning right now so it was extra irritating as I struggled to get my phone to work so I could receive important texts. I let my aunt know the texts were a scam because she's a boomer and was confused by them. Me and at least two members of my family received the texts. Fucking troons.

Charlotte Clymer, a contracted spokesperson for AllVote, sent The Inquirer an apologetic statement, describing the texts as a well-intended reminder-turned-disastrous mistake, thanks to a typo committed by staffers.

“We are mortified by this mistake and the confusion it has caused,” the organization said in the statement.

The organization would not say how many voters were sent the erroneous text.

I also received an apology text. Not sure how many people got those. It said that the previous text had been sent in error. Sure Jan. :roll:
 
TTD, cope, sneed, all that stuff, I get it. But I’m pretty sure “records show you voted” is just a typo where the intern left out the word “haven’t”. The alternative is that they were hoping people would… develop a false memory where they had voted within the last few days?
