Police have declared a "major incident" in Southport after reports of a stabbing and a "number of reported casualties".

Police said a knife had been seized and that a man had been detained but urged the public to avoid the area near Hart Street.

In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services are in Southport following a major incident this morning, Monday 29 July.

"At around 11.50am, we were called to a property on Hart Street to reports of a stabbing.

"There are a number of reported casualties and more details will be confirmed when possible.

"Armed police have detained a male and seized a knife. He has been taken to a police station.

"Please avoid the area while we deal with this incident. There is no wider threat to the public."

This breaking news story is being updated and more details will be published shortly.

As I said in the other thread, Taylor best have some massive security* for her London shows. Even her dance-class who did a Taylor swift themse was targetted.

*Avoid G4S. They're staffed by 90% muslims and allowed the manchester bombing to happen. (They didn't approach or stop the bomber because they didn't want to be called racist)

Behold my complete lack of shock.
Also: archived it for you
And a reminder for those reading that the riots that followed were painted by the government as ‘thinking he was an Islamic terrorist’ rather than a home grown Welshman. If people have been charged for saying he was then what now?

It's all been memory-holed, those rioters were just hecking racist and the real problem is native citizens daring to get uppity and racist about all these lovely newcomers to our shores, because they're the real victims. What girls got stabbed again? Prison for you because that's disinformation!

All immigrants to be housed within a mile of sitting MPs and members of the opposition . All of them. Zero security for MPs, they should live as the people they think they rule do. They should live in the poorest, roughest areas with the people they import. They should use public transport.

Remember the islamic-sounding name that originally floated around as the ID of this niglet? I wonder how close to reality that was? It was leaked by a foreigner in India IIRC.

Did the police/media ever come out and say he wasn't on a watchlist like they usually do?

Teen accused of Southport murders facing terror charge

The teenager accused of murdering three young girls in Southport has been charged with producing the poison ricin and possessing a military study of an al-Qaeda training manual.

Axel Rudakubana, 18, has been charged with production of a biological toxin contrary to Section 1 of the Biological Weapons Act 1974.

He has also been charged with possessing a PDF document of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing to or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

The accused will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Merseyside Police's Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said that the force would continue to lead the investigation into the stabbings on 29 July.

Counter Terrorism Police have not declared the matter a terrorist incident.

Both the ricin and the study of the training manual were found as part of searches of the suspect's house in the Lancashire village of Banks following the stabbing.

Ricin is a highly toxic poison naturally derived from castor oil plants.

None of the substance was found at the scene of the stabbings in Southport and police said the poison they did discover presented a low risk to the public.

Dr Renu Bindra, senior medical advisor at the UK Health Security Agency, said: "There has been no evidence of ricin poisoning in anyone involved or connected to this incident."

The charges which have been added do not require a motive to be established.

In order for the incident to be classed as a terrorist incident, a motive would need to be present.

The teenager has already been charged with the stabbing murders of Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.

He is also charged with ten counts of attempted murder and possession of a knife.

A trial is expected to begin in January.

Downing Street said the Prime Minister's thoughts were with the families of the Southport attack victims.

A No 10 spokeswoman said: "The government is focused on ensuring the families and all those affected receive justice."

It was Agatha al-Qaeda all along then.

The ricin was found searching his house, which was done the very day of the murders.

Porton Down would have turned the confirmation sample around within several hours, tops.

Merseyside Police were in a position to confirm, for the purposes of public protection, that ricin had been found in the home of the murder suspect within 24 hours of the murders, and that's being generous.

It has taken months for them to finally proceed to charge the 'suspect' and it is only being reported now because they are not able to suppress the information that he has been charged.

So let's be clear: the police deliberately suppressed the information that a fucking biological weapon was found in the home of a murder suspect; a service I do not recall being provided to any other murder or terrorism suspect in living memory. It was certainly not provided in the case of the Skripals' FSB poisoners.

This tissue-thin excuse about the right to a fair trial doesn't fly. The police are well aware no murder case, let alone this one, would be dismissed on those grounds.

At what point is the Chief Constable going to explain the decision to suppress this information, the reason why it was suppressed, or once yet a-fucking-gain will the police in the UK be allowed to behave with no scrutiny and no accountability?

"B-b-b-but we thought you might get angry about it!"

Glad to see people are coming together to bootstomp the fuck out of Islam.

Sick and tired of year after year of muslims committing horrendous and heinous acts. At the end of the day I don't give a shit about the colour of your skin, but it's not my fault that an overwhelming majority of muslims happen to be black or brown.

Hopefully the term 'islamophobic' is one worn with pride across the majority of the population rather than some horrid nasty term used by the police to raid peoples' houses
Fucking called it I knew this little faggot was doing it in the name of Islam

It's always Islam. Every single time something like this happens it's because of someone radicalised into being a muslim, and going on a jihad.

Despite being a religion of "peace", it's one of the only religions with an explicit clause that justifies going to war and fighting others codified into its religious doctrine. The whole concept of Jihad is proof that peace and Islam are polar opposites.

It’s not just the government and police who knew this all along, the press who are reporting on this will have known about this all along too and are now acting shocked Pikachu face.

The entire establishment needs torn out from the roots and we need to rebuild because we can’t keep fucking going on like this.

I‘m going to make a cup of tea before I start fedposting.

Islam, the religion of peace.
I've never seen news coverage of a buddhist going on a stabbing spree.
A buddhist strapping himself with explosives to get revenge on the people that disrespect his religion.

The word Islam directly translates to submission. As in submit to us or we chop your head off.

Not just that it's being announced the day before the budget.
I don't know which they want to distract from the other but I have enough headspace to hate them for both.

It's absolutely intentional, but for what purpose I am curious too. It's either maximum provocation or they really do think people are just going to duck their heads quietly and carry on.

Don't forget one of their MPs just got caught on camera assaulting someone then punching them while they were down. This is a very bad week for Labour so shitting out further bad news may be seen as worth it since things can't get any worse.
