Nice sentiment, unfortunately this does not apply to a pathological narcissist like Nick Rekieta. He's incapable of introspection, or taking accountability for anything. To do so would be accepting shame. It's an infantile defense mechanism his mother caused when he was between the ages of two and six. Then probably ramped up more in his early teens. The only time a narc will feign remorse is as a manipulation tactic. No, afraid Nick with be a highly narcissistic individual until the day he dies. Narcs rarely seek therapy willingly, and someone like Nick would just be condescending and dismissive to any mental health professional anyway. I'll tell you one thing though, Nick is scared to death of being publicly humiliated in front of his peers i.e. a court room with fellow attorneys, judge etc. This would cause narcissistic mortification and completely shatter him to pieces mentally, as his image of himself no longer matches reality. Then he really would be on suicide watch. Only God almighty can humble a reprobate such as Nick. Looks like the process has already begun.

Nick's nighttime livestreams were completely different from his daytime legal streams. During his legal streams, he'd restream the trial from somewhere like Law and Crime, he'd crack good jokes about the lawyers and witnesses, explain the legal issues he knew about, and ask his guests good questions about the things he didn't know about. The legal streams were like long reaction videos to trials people were interested in. It made complex, long-winded, and stuffy trials a lot more entertaining.

I watched his legal streams through the Rittenhouse era before I ever saw one of his nighttime livestreams. I was shocked at his behavior and chose not to watch him during the Depp trial because I knew he was a drunkard and I no longer respected his opinion. I never could understand how people suffered his nighttime livestreams.

The reason Nick wants any clips to be clearly altered to comply with fair use is probably so whenever he fucks up and gets clipped, he can say, "That's not the original video! It's been clearly altered! They're absolutely bullshit lying!"

Even after a year or so of this of the Balldoverse Collapse, I find it completely unfathomable how retarded Nick has gotten. A couple of years ago, he was atleast moderately intelligent and charismatic. You have to have atleast a couple brain cells to rub together to pass the bar. Now, if you grabbed him outside of the context of his current life circumstances, he could probably qualify for government disability for mental impairment. Theres no way just substances just did this, right?

Did he hit his head or something when he drove his car off the road?

He went after people who his viewers didn't like, such as Ron Toye, so they willfully ignored his red flags. Oh animal abuse, that's awful but he's a caring family man, he must be joking. A libertarian that is against abortion, that's government restriction but I guess he's just religious. A Christian who is friends with a pornographer who promotes sex toys and is demeaning to women, that's kinda WEIRD but atleast it's FUNNY right? People let their bias cloud their judgment because Nick went after people who were their enemies, regardless of his vitriol not being a characteristic of the type of guy he said he was.

It's a cautionary tale, indeed.

Imo, Nick's been roughly in the phase of alcohol abuse which doesn't immediately shut down your liver and kill you, but does deplete natural gaba and critical B vitamins in the brain to the effect of real, obvious, and progressive "brain poisoning". Additional substances only further accelerate, and especially in the case of stimulants which allow you to stay awake and keep drinking even past the normal "blackout unconscious" time. That's why he did the "anime sucks, cope and sneed" reading 6+ times. Literally blackout and unconscious, but awake enough to talk and keep drinking.
