I hate this beating around the bush shit Kamala does. I'll give that interviewer credit, it was a pretty direct question.
I just wish they would ask something to the tune of "Why do you think you REPLACED Joe Biden as the nominee." and just hold her to a straight answer to it.

Biden realized he fucked up and tried to pull it back to mean beating Trump in the political election. Unfortunately for him, just throwing in the word "politically" in this manner actually makes his statement worse by making it clear that Trump would be a political prisoner rather than a mere criminal prisoner as Democrats have long been claiming to justify their lawfare against Trump for the past year.

I once had a German colleague, who had never been to the US, lecture me about the merits of gun ownership in the US. His position was that gun control works and no one should own semi-auto rifles. I asked him if he had ever fired a gun and his reply - I shit you not - was a story about how, in the mid-90's, some Russian dude he knew smuggled a few AK-47's into the country and showed them off to the German by letting him shoot them somewhere along the border of Poland. He laughed and said it was crazy, but fun. I then asked the obvious question of why the fuck he believed in gun control when he just told a story about hip-firing a fully-automatic rifle smuggled into the country. His reply was "well, that's different."

I'm not certain what they put in the water over there. I really hated this guy. He would never shut the fuck up about Americans and gun culture.

He sounds like an unpleasant snob to be around.
