I think Andrew is making a big mistake mixing his weeb vTuber stuff with legal commentary.

He should keep two separate channels for each content.
I actually like listening to his legal analysis, because he has been mostly correct. (But he has shown that he will comment on things without fully understanding the context and gets things wrong)

If he wants to comment on Nick he should banish the vCringe waifus before doing any lawyer analysis.

I can think of a handful of people, actually. Some of them notoriously full of shit. Note that it doesn't have to be an actual lawyer in Lawtube. It could be a hanger-on. There's more than a few of those.

Without more though, it's almost pointless to speculate. I don't know exactly who is in Andrew's orbit currently. Plus, even if the source isn't full of shit, Nick could be feeding the source a line of horseshit.

Ultimately, we should have a clearer picture as to what's gonna happen by late next month.

Vtubing has only really begun to take off and it also offers a lot of legal gray area to explore and figure out, so Andrew is very clearly exploiting a niche in the market that can be fulfilled. And it's paid off for him pretty well. He covers a wide enough variety of topics in entertainment, and vtubing definitely falls into that category.

It would appear he got a bit lazy and just clipped out a segment of a livestream as a separate video, instead of doing an entirely new separate video concerning Rekieta.

And CHIPS since decided that there was no basis for them to proceed further. They will likely keep the file open for a while, but I doubt they're actively monitoring anymore.

I think at this point nothing he does will make much difference in his case. Confessing to doing coke doesn't matter. I think any deal he gets will be about the same as he would get on a conviction. The only thing I could see him do at trial is maybe fighting over the weight of the drugs to get the charge down. But they would have to hire experts and probably a better attorney than the barneswalker to do even that. Nick also seems broke.

I suspect part of what is going on in the background is that CPS is forcing Nick through the whole process. That they forced him first into "recovery" and then they finally got him to a point where he had to admit he had done coke. Something bad is obviously going on with him. Maybe many things,

My advice to Nick is that the based chad move in this situation is violence. You need to go fight someone. Challenge Aaron in his front yard. Go fight Sean.

Or better yet, summon Ralph & Dax & company & start the battle of Jim's driveway. Opening the portal to CWCville is probably a good strategy for indefinitely deferring your legal problems. Maybe that is what the Sonichu Medallion wants in exchange for giving you your life back.

Good point. I am still not very convinced by any of these sources. The only one I have seen talk positively about Nick recently is the fat Aussie.

Considering that a lot of vtubers are into e-drama stuff (and get into it between each other), and also considering that Rikieta and Camelot tried to gay-op Pippa and Phase Connect, I think there's a lot of vtuber interest in what happens to the Balldo Pope. And Mindset has already said he isn't going to devote entire streams to Nick unless he does something major or something major comes up with his case/court appearances. This was just a footnote in his stream. He's not going to do do an entire stream just to cover this. He fit it into an existing stream then clipped it. I'd say now that he's covering an actual trial again he doesn't wanna waste time when he doesn't have to.

A suspended sentence seems the most likely outcome and that won't necessarily entail any kind of close supervision. Even if he's given probation, how much he can get away with depends on how it operates in his jurisdiction.

I'd start with listing those we know who we know are in touch with Nick or who are likely in touch with Nick. Those include: Nate, TUG, Megan, Branca, NinaInfinity, Barnes, EVS, StarWarsGirl, Chrissie, Camelot, Melton, and Vices.

Of that list, who would be most likely to be chatting with Mindset?

Branca, Camelot, Nate or maaybe Vices, but Jeff hates drama. Recall that Nate mentioned a couple of weeks ago that he'd spoken to Nick.

I'm betting it's Nate or Camelot but it could easily be Branca. (Also, any of those 3 could have spoken to Sean who relayed that to Mindset.)
