The Trump campaign on Sunday said former President Donald Trump is “safe following gunshots in his vicinity.”

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement that did not provide additional details.

The former president was playing golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. The course was immediately locked down, according to a source familiar.

The Secret Service said on X that it is working with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a protective incident involving Trump. The Secret Service said the incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m.

Trump taken to safety after Secret Service opens fire on man with possible gun at his Palm Beach golf club​


Donald Trump was taken to safety by the Secret Service after agents opened fire on a man who was spotted with what may have been a gun while the former president was on the links, according to law enforcement sources.

Sources said the Secret Service spotted a suspicious individual on the Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach, and opened fire when agents saw what appeared to be the barrel of a gun.

It’s not clear whether the man was on the course or near it.

An agent opened fire, shooting multiple times.

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said Sunday afternoon.

The man was later arrested by local police on I-95.

It comes almost exactly two months after Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pa. on July 13 — wounding him in the ear.

Sen. Lindsey Graham took to X minutes after news of the shooting broke to laud the former president for his fortitude.

“Just spoke with President Trump. He is one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. He’s in good spirits and he is more resolved than ever to save our country.”

The West Palm Beach course is about five miles inland from Mar-a-Lago, which Trump dubbed the “Winter White House.”

The Secret Service — which came under widespread criticism following the July assassination attempt — wrote on X that it was investigating a “protective incident” involving the former president that occurred shortly before 2 p.m.

The agency said it’s coordinating with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office on the investigation.

Initial reports suggested two people were firing at each other. However, sources said investigators now believe the Secret Service agent was the only shooter.

The man’s motives are not yet known. He was arrested by Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies.

The White House issued a statement soon after the incident: “The President and Vice President have been briefed about the security incident at the Trump International Golf Course, where former President Trump was golfing. They are relieved to know that he is safe. They will be kept regularly updated by their team.”

It's not that they don't have morals. They do. They are post-modernists, their morality is power based.

Whatever gets them more power is good. Whatever costs them power is evil.

This is why they can lie, cheat, steal, kill even. Because if that gets them more power, it's a moral good.

Trump getting into office would cost them power. A lot of power. Worse, he might adjust things so that in the future they can't lie cheat and steal as easy as they can now. Thus he threatens not only their current power, but their future power. That's why they think Trump is the most evil thing imaginable.

The only reason they're not cheering on Trump's attempted assassins is because the backlash would possibly cost them power in the future, therefore it would be a bad thing to do.

I was talking to a retarded family member about this who wants trump to die but if he survives it was a false flag. Basically if you believe Trump has enough control over the secret service and police to stage a shooting (and also kill one of his own fans) in order to get a boost for an election, why does he even need try? If he has that much power over law enforcement to get away with murder, surely he can just rig the election?

Also, and all that pre planning and he didn't have the assassin register as a dem and write an explicit manifesto like the pooner shooter. Trump is both the most skilled and most inept false flag planner when the plot needs him to be.

This seems glaringly transparent, and also calls back and questions the Thomas Crooks situation.

They were able to find this guy by just his rifle tip at a distance and were able to take him alive.
A lot of people gave authorities heads up that Thomas Crooks was there with a rifle, even telling a cop there’s a man with a rifle on the roof, there being a picture taken by surveillance, but they couldn’t stop that one, it was completely out of nowhere.

This smells weird.

Read any book about politics from any place and any era and you will see this idea repeated

Trump is only a threat to winning this election which represents at most an inconvenience. People with power fear trump the way they fear inconvenience. Trump is an old and kinda stupid republican with bad taste and poor judgment in hiring. He’s barely a threat to himself honestly. i was talking to friend who thinks this one is especially fake because nothing happened and how convenient it was that secret service stopped the shooter.
