So from a pure political strategy standpoint, if you were the GOP how would you go about getting your candidates elected post 2020 ? I

What I would do is I would try to get Trump arrested and throne in jail unable to run before he dies. I know this sounds counterintuitive but it would help for a few reasons.

1: It would make Trump a Martyr and cause his base to rally behind a new GOP candidate. Trump's cult of personality and base of low IQ morons are why he won the GOP primaries so handedly. With Trump arrested this would galvanize them

2: It would diffuse opposition from the left, they wouldn't be able to play the "trump is literally a fascist dictator who is going to take over the country any day know we swear for realsies this time". I dislike Trump as much as you do but let's be honest a lot of the opposition many have to Trump isn't very logical and is more so caused by the media waging such an effective war against him (very fine people anyone ?). It would even if only subconsciously create a sense of relief and safety in these less politically engaged lefties that the system is fine and there is no fascist boogieman. The media being able to create that much of a spin again would take time to get going. TI would also hurt the left's ability to play the character of a counter culture activist.

3: It would help the GOP win support from moderates who refuse to vote for Trump for non political reasons such as his attitude, his conviction and the fact supporting him gets you punished.

I am not a republican (if I was I would have ano heroed a long time ago lol) but I like thinking about political strategy like this.

Parents came here legally in the 90s and I was born here boi. So unless you wanna break American values.... and I don't know why you of all people singling me out (and outing my state) for saying Trump is pulling a dumbass move and alienating potential voters.

Plus don't pretend to know what actual blacks and Haitians think when you don't got on the ground experience. Trump support among Black People rose the last few years and significantly this year alone and Haitians were big voting block in Trump during 2016 cause the Clinton foundation fucked Haiti in the ass. And during midterms, areas that were blue turned absolutely red. Illegal Immigration has ESPECIALLY pissed off the black community. Now tho? He's burned alotta bridges. Black conservatives especially me are pretty pissed with Trump lately. Dude wants to pander to the fringe of the right and forget the black conservatives who were backing him up to continually.

The right can't preach about "we don't vote for people who hate us" but expect ppl Trump is now shitting on to vote like loyal lapdogs. Votes are earned not guaranteed.

And 300K voters in a KEY state isn't small.

That’s not my only evidence. The way she feels emboldened to speak to MTG and Graham, two people in her party with higher stance than her. Not to say she should bend the knee, but the way she feels comfortable going at them as hard as she did tells me she’s got job security with Trump we can only dream (or handle nightmares) of.
