I think I have something that might interest you. And maybe an explanation for that wikipage.(plus some merch website) You should have checked the guys discord.
I know that people already looked into Ani but I honestly dont know much about him and only remember reading about him being in a leftist podcast. As I said before I think he is irrelevant. Nevertheless I found that ani and weeb started a discord together (or at least shared one) and they did similar content around revewing anime, memes and video essays about connecting lefty ideology to anime. That sort of shit.
"Weeb Revolution" is a youtuber thats about anime and communism(or leftist ideoligy). "Creating Nerdy Leftist Analysis of Anime" as he puts it. I believe him and im NOT gonna watch his channel.
Im going to focus on ANI. Now if you where to see ANi's youtube page as it is now 08/09/2024. you wouldn't get the impression, he done that.
Now if you are confused by this image, dont be. Most of those anime thumbnails and titels are his videos that blew up his channel. I assume, cause I dont want to watch the video, that its about the history of a ship being portrayed as a waifu. And not some political essay.
You can see small bits of his old content that he used to make. You can see some of it is quite old, 6 years ago. He was talking about anime, history, making anime meme videos and just being a weeb overall. Its his thing. But what you might not know is that he tried to connect black lives matter to an anime or the other way around (Idk I can't watch the video)

Just wanted to state that I dont hate or like this guy. I may disagree on what he says but I have no reason to hate him.

I think most of us Kiwis are good people, just tired of shitty people doing shitty things or like to observe odd behavior.

Need some help with something fellow millspergs, a hypothetical. I'm writing a book rn and literally making a ailen army from scratch. What I've decided on for some of the land logistics is a space Stryker and Space Humvee
The space Stryker will have its APC and Dragoon variant, but with a 37mm instead of 30mm for the dragoon,
Mainly proof against plasma fire but can take hits in the 14.5mm range like the actual Stryker. Can fit extra ceramic and slat armor against rockets and heavier plasma weapons equal to auto cannons around the 30mm range. The coax is a 300 win mag MG42 but in space machine gun. 3000 rounds.
APC has either a space 12.7mm, 14.5mm, or a 50mm grenade launcher in a remote turret. Has the possibility of being fitted with light anti tank missiles. Carries 10 passengers, same with the dragoon. Armor is the same. Range for both is 600 miles.
It's Wheeled, so relatively fast but tires can pop. Also keeps the double V hull of the Stryker, so fuck mines. Rollover is a issue.
Overall this is as much a question of is the Stryker good as is a space Stryker good enough to work for aliens and not immediately die. I've always liked the Stryker and found it a cool little workhorse, a evolution of the LAV III that has actual armor. Discuss.

That's up to you decide, writer. What's it fighting? Where? With what? How are its enemies armed? Is it the right tool for the job the aliens are using it for (like the Sherman doing infantry support at the end of a 3000 mile long supply chain in 1944 France), or are they shoehorning it in for lack of any other vehicle (like the F-105 high altitude nuclear strike fighter-bomber forced to be a low altitude bomb sled in Vietnam)? If it's shoehorned, does it get better when the alien military-industrial complex decides to fix it, or does it stay a piece of garbage for that role because the bureaucrats don't care how many die as long as the price is kept down?
