Not to PL, but one of my close friends actually has history with the creator of Oobja, and you have hit the nail perfectly on the head here. When he learned Oobja was made by him, he went on an autism deep dive uncovering what happened since he last had contact with him. Basically, the creator, Isuati, is an exceedingly stupid underaged tranny with a history of gay furry porn addiction, and is in a dysfunctional relationship with a twitter artist obsessed with friday night funking who encouraged his transition. Oobja itself is just a 3 minute long cash grab made in about an hour that shoves UGC in your face once you finish it. I would not be surprised in the slightest if he turns out being a groomer in the coming decade.

And what, kill at least half the game’s mass appeal and the vast majority of its marketing?

I have heard nothing to that effect and I definitely would’ve by now if they were planning to do so. Even if they announced an appearance change and bothered to go through with it, it’d still be way too little way too late, and it still wouldn’t shake Sebastian’s status as A Gianni Character—and there’s no escaping that once that’s established.

Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if they either somehow didn’t know what they were getting into with the choices made RE: Sebastian, or at best had a sense but arrogantly thought they could escape the inevitable. These people run in the same circles as developers that I’ve seen repeatedly redesign their characters in a futile effort to escape sexymanning over less than what Sebastian has going for him. There’s a good chance they were just that clueless.

I wouldn't recall exactly, but with the way they bungled the last month, they sure act the part.

(Though, to cut the slightest bit of slack to Zeal in particular, he has associates that would've handled it exponentially worse. He also supposedly confessed to taking criticism poorly which makes it a bit more respectable that his worst public meltdowns have been "formal" threads trying to address criticism in one fell swoop.)

Makes me realize he's essentially the "Tumblr Sexyman" of VAs. He's just a grift for low-standard teens and adults to grovel their feet over. A great voice actor but an actor I wish who didn't pull into the crowd of easily impressionable Twitter/Tumblr users. He can commit to the same acts, same voices, loudness, everything, and people will treat it like gospel. At least Patrick Warburton shows some variety of personality despite he gives the same voice to all the characters he voices. Gianni doesn't, at least, not as much, in my opinion.

Is there even a term to call VAs who don't change their voices, no matter the character they VA?

He's most definitely the reason behind those "voice dubbing an image/meme" videos. Almost all of them make me wince. They're all trying to imitate Gianna's voice direction and hardly any of them piqued my interest. A lot of them just sound like those cheesy comic dubs with the stupid tweening. Don't forget about the ones that're as over edited as a MrBeast video.

They're not all terrible but the fact something like a body pillow, a concept that's mainly been suggestive/lewd at best, gets to generally be allowed on Roblox is most definitely concerning. But I'll take a Heavy TF2 Body Pillow over the head of a character related to a FNAF porn series being on the market any day.

I hate to admit but some of the pillows get a chuckle out of me for no reason.

They should actually do this. Weird deep sea creatures somehow capable of speech and trade in a horror game probably shouldn't look like the reddit alien as a mermaid. Imagine if he actually had an angler fish's mouth to go with that lure. In fact giving him a really horrific appearance like that alone would make interacting with him as an NPC into a far more noteworthy aspect of the game. But no, they want the EPI gooner audience. To be fair I don't even care to play whatever this slop is anyway, I never played Doors for instance.

Why make a UGC system where users can create anything that people can use to customize their avatars that will be visible in EVERY game as long as its not morphed out and even then visible as their profile mugshot and then proceed to NOT have the most anal and slow moderation approval system for it? Did they not learn from decal uploads?! I think ROBLOX needs to hire moderators who actually understand the internet so when they see this Changed bullshit they instantly know to hit the "DENY" button. Pay them extra for being superior to the existing moderation. This is reminding me of how some bronies back in 2012ish ROBLOX tried to EPI people with Banned from Equestria Daily t-shirts.
