First off, Rekieta always lies so don't believe a word of what he is saying. As far as what the actual 'terrific news' is, I wouldn't be surprised if he got permission to have the kids be supervised at his home occasionally.

It is also possible that he has managed to get away with it scot-free, lolcows do tend to have incredible luck when it comes to the legal system. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if he manages to get a plea deal and get his kids back. The only thing preventing this was swallowing his pride and just accepting his wrong doing, maybe he managed to come up with a cope in his mind about how he is winning when he accepts a plea deal.

You are all stupid.

It was said, in this very thread (probably), that they are considering changing the kids' guardians, with someone that can recognise drug use and stuff. Who would be better for this position than the nigga from da hood, Nicholas Robert Rekieta?
Simple as.

I do really hope he improves for the sake of the kids, even if that isn't the funniest option.
There is nothing I would like more than for everyone in this thread to be 100% wrong and for Nick to simply be going through a rough patch from which he bounces back and starts acting sane and stable again. He really did bring something of value back in the day and it's a crying shame that he ruined it the way he did. I'm not going to say it's impossible for this entire thing to be a wake up call for him(losing custody of his kids reminds him not to take them for granted and to actually take care of them) but at this point I think the common sentiment is that we'll believe it when we see it.

Maybe the bodycam footage was the interesting matters of public interest along the way! Nick and the Qover may have risen above the law this day unlike nicks flaccid cock that requires a needle to become erect. Has a betting pool opened up as to when one of the Qover or the children od?

It is possible that the grandparents took whatever course was required to supervise and he is getting a supervised visitation with them.

Possibilities
  1. Nick is telling the truth that he resolved the CPS case and got the kids back, as he possibly awaits finalizing a plea deal.
  2. The grandparents took the drug recognition course and Nick is having a supervised visitation at his house.
  3. The grandparents moved in next door with the kids.
  4. Nick and Kayla did 60 days of drug tests (lol) and so got the kids back (or the right to supervised visits at home)
  5. Nick is straight up lying or exaggerating

We know Nick is a pathological liar, but we also know Kayla was offered a plea deal, so who knows?

Seems very strange to me that CPS would "resolve" the case with one of the children having tested positive for cocaine.

Nick must have pled guilty (or will plead guilty), I think, if this is true that he got his kids back.

CPS looooooves dumping kids back with unfit parents, but don't the parents have to make a token effort to "improve" before that happens? Like, has Rackets given any proof that he's been cooperating with CPS, or has he been kicking up a shit fit because the CPS agents dare to ask him and Our Wife to blow clean on a drug test? I find it hard to believe that he's been working with CPS given his actions in the files we've seen.

Pretending to be a good father to own the kiwis

Oh... You kiwiprudes thinking Rekieta is busy trying to appear like he's a good father.
He is busy Xeeting. He got no time for those children. The grandparents can take care of 'em.

' Jack of all trades, master of none' is transformed by the addition of 'but still oftentimes better than master of none.'
Sperging about your spergery, the quote is "Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than master of  one." It really changes the meaning.

Nick Rekieta is a jack of wife trades and master of none.

"Finally a replacement for the maid. Get to work Granny!" :really:

Especially if they came with a pair of elderly incel prudes looking over his shoulder all the time.

I wonder if Nick will bond with then by talking about their sex life and the benefits of Balldos?

I'm guessing there is an entirety to it. I'm betting they were offered pleas with conditions (likely defferred adjudication). This is just the beginning of implementation of what everyone agreed. I'm hoping they both must confess guilt in open court (no Alford, just reduced sentence.) The charges were identical and the evidence for those charges were identical so I suspect their plea offers were identical. I think the plea was negotiated with Nick's attorney, not just out of the blue offer.

The prosecutor was same for both the child and criminal case so hopefully, it addressed Nick/Kayla drug testing, getting April out of the house, probation, parenting classes, restrictions on who can care for the children, rehab requirements, where they live, future child hair follicle drug testing, therapy for children, family counseling, assessments for Nick and Kayla, and on and on. I hope they tied it all into probation and a condition of avoiding prison (don't go to family counseling=arrest warrant). Wrap it in a complete package so Nick can never claim court orders regarding his kids conflict with his probation.

And as icing on the cake, I hope they order Nick to immediately pay all his outstanding traffic fines before leaving jail after processing.

You continue to make unfounded and wild assertions without the decency or care to label them as speculation. Why? It adds nothing of value.

The transcript makes clear that the obstacle was both, am I missing something? What is the point you are making?

The initial obstacles to the in-laws supervising was the lack of training, then when moving in was discussed (with in-laws retaining custody) the licensing issue (cannot return children to the same address) was raised. After that the speaker house was raised, and tabled because CPS was not sure how far it was or how they wouls controll access to the children.

Only after all that was the 60 day UA requirement for custody to be returned to Kayla and Nick (with in-laws supervising after training) raised as a possibility.

In no case was a 'in-laws retain custody' compatible with, children move back into their home. This would tend to point to at least a partial custody agreement wit Nick and Kayla.

I think there's a decent chance that the win he got was to get the records sealed meaning he can lie with impunity.
It's possible. Unfortunate for us, but possible.

I do not believe for a second he got his kids back unconditionally, if that's what he's gonna try and claim. And neither should anybody with a brain. Conditionally? Sure.

Per Sean's observation on his stream going over the last doc drop, the judge didn't seem amenable to that either based on the questions he asked.

What's more likely, in my opinion, and seemingly the opinion of most people here, is that the court agreed to the grandparents monitoring the situation. The state seemed more or less okay with that if the grandparents were educated on how to spot drug use.

Also worth mentioning that MNPublicRecords probably has shit saved up too that might shed more light on things. I don't think we've heard the last of him even if the records were sealed.

Regardless, I thank them for their service throughout all this.

Me too but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Even with Nick choosing the most retarded, belligerent, ODD path available, I wouldn't be actually shocked that even if he somehow puts this through a full jury trial and gets found guilty of everything, it's STILL a deferred adjudication or suspended sentence.

Sadly I'm afraid it's true. There are at least 2-3 sticks/carrots the prosecutor can still dangle (child hair follicle tests/new charges, bodycam footage entered into evidence/released publicly, and being allowed around drug felon April while on probation). Probably wouldn't work on normal people, but I'm hoping it terrifies Nick that he will plead guilty in open court. None of it would be a threat of jail time though.

There's an additional possibility.

He convinced April to take the fall for the drugs - since it was her cards that were found with the coke. She can get away with a lesser sentence, he gets to keep the kids, and he works out a deal with her like getting the second house or receiving a salary or something like that.

April is young, dumb, white, and pretty for Minnesota backwoods. She can easily play "I'm a mess because I was going through a divorce but now I'm getting my life together and I'm over the drugs".

It might all land on April.

So what does this mean for the footage?
Nothing. The police are in possession of that and therefore, the public records laws relating to executive branch records apply to it, not the records laws applying to CPS proceedings nor the proceedings in his ongoing felony criminal case.

I think we've found our new thread poll.

Got your kids back? Okay. Even if Nick gets off on some plea deal and they cancel all his traffic ticket debt he's still a loser and a lolcow who will never get a 10th of the audience back that he once had. His future is reading superchats calling him a cuck or even worse just streaming to a small group of paypigs like hes Spoony
