I quit caffeine entirely when Josh mentioned not wanting to give it up for Lent just to see if I could do it. I used to have a ton of trouble getting to sleep, but alongside my exercise routine I pretty much am asleep within 20 minutes of when I turn out the lights. I don't have much of an issue staying awake when I need to either. I have never felt anything other than exhausted after erxercise. I even did running for a while and kept waiting to feel those amazing feelings people always say you get, but never got them. I think some people just don't get the same magical chemicals released from exercise. regardless of whether or not you like it, proper nutrition is essential, and it is even above exercise in the hierarchy of importance. caffeine and drugs may help you in the moment, proper exercise will help you for the rest of your life. it's all about routine.Same as some people just don't really like food, I think they just don't get the same dopamine release from eating good food.

If you don't feel good and full after having a well seasoned chicken breast, a bowl of steamed vegetables for $1.50, a $2.00 can of fruit, and multiple glasses of water, then there's something off.At my best, I ate 600 calories on off days and 1800 on on days and I counted everything. My only meal on off days was a piece of fish and I'd measure out a tablespoon of wasabi mayo for it. I also switched from soda to zero calorie arizona tea with ginseng - it's the one with the asian lady on it. That's basically it. It impacted every facet of my life, I did not feel good half the time, I had trouble concentrating on work, and it ended the nanosecond the relationship I was dieting for ended
Exercise has never made me feel "good" in the sense of a physical sensation. But it absolutely makes me feel better mentally. I get much more frustrated much more quickly at smaller issues without exercise than with regular exercise. i ate fish and took multis. i don't really think there's a better foodstuff than fish. it's just a lack of calories. it was a keto diet.It sounds like you weren't eating well
Please know I hold you in the highest respect when I say that I only want you to remain healthy for as long as possible. Substances aren't the way to accomplish this.
