In the past, Josh has tried to intervene in the lives of the people discussed on this website, and I don't think the results were good for his blood pressure or sanity, but it's his choice.

Boy howdy, tough call. Instead of getting involved directly, could you just give the $1800 to Jones so he can pay off the retard and come out clean? I ask if it is an option, but don't necessarily suggest doing so as every time you've done a retard a favor it has bitten you in places that suck to be bit.

This would be the best reason to do anything. That is unless your friend in Australia had an expedient resolution to his troon problem. I haven't paid enough attention to that situation.
If I remember correctly this guy got a spotlight on MATI, if it is the same guy then he absolutely deserves more legal restraints.
 
This seems to directly be affecting the farms, which is what the money was donated for.

Also Stebbins seems to be an idiot who only takes advantage of poor people, meaning he may instantly fold at the possibility of having a suit brought by someone with means, ultimately costing little money.

I'd say go for it.

What does Hardin think? Obviously you have to appeal the DCMA, but do you really want Stupendously Fucktarded to advertise you're the moving party in his case? Stebbins could end up with a ringer just like Greer and that isn't an outcome I'd be rushing to experience again if I was in your shoes. While it would be entertaining to sink this asshole's boat, I think it's wiser to save the funds for law work that is supporting something more fundamental to overall freedom on the Internet. This idiot isn't threatening the website's continued existence, he's just a pest. I doubt he would be worth the funds and effort needed for this.
