That photo was the first one on that page, now they've done their magic and cropped it and put it right at the bottom of the article. Current discussion is that it should be removed because he "looks too much like a tough guy" and it's "irrelevant to the event"

I sincerely don't understand why they'd bother. Are they trying to hide it even happened or something? Literally the entire country knows it happened. No one's gonna forget any time soon. Hell, Trump will probably mention it somewhat frequently at least until the voting actually happens.

I'd be amazed if that tard even had an intelligible ideology. And not at all amazed if he actually was antifa. I think he was just a zoomer, which is to say, absolutely retarded by being bombarded by nonsensical media since he was born.

The thing is, they already know they can push the news cycle on overdrive and gin up new outrage. Look at how COVID lockdowns are nearly forgotten; the left cheered while people were forced to suffer and endure humiliation yet that appears to be wholly absent from public dialogue.

This latest banner advertisement takes up three quarters of the screen, and Brave's built-in adblocker doesn't work on it, even on the most aggressive setting ("aggressively block trackers & ads").

Has anyone else gotten this one lately? Does anyone know of any extensions that can block it?
 
They are desperate. Maybe they should stop spending money on NGO feel good shit and focus more on something useful like server maintenance and securing free use for pictures.

They don't need the money, as many others have said, and haven't for well over 10 years. Their server costs are in the millions for such a high traffic site, but they bring in well north of that. Any money given to them is going to go to some scam non-profit.

They tried to do the usual Wikipedia Hit Piece on Tatsuya Ishida but, for whatever reason, it fizzled out and Sinfest's entry is happily frozen in around 2010.

It generally means jannies are trying to shore up some very tendentious or outright false claim by loading up 14 different rags that parrot the same thing, which is bulletproof by Wikipedia truth standards.

That or some autist managed to find 18 different, gold-standard sources to back up the bold claim that Cambodia is situated in Asia. To be fair, it's not like Wikipedians are allowed to demonstrate or infer this themselves (that would be original research).
