The amount of people who have been taken aback about how much of a faggot and who he actually is I've spoken to is pretty high.
I'm not the sort to tattle on people and say stuff like "YOU SHOULD NOT SUPPORT X HE IS RACISM", these are people who are fully ok with saying NIGGER a couple of which have more subs than Max on youtube.

It's par for the course with the 4channer-to-groomer pipeline, and especially true with Macks since he's of the mindset that everything in existence has to be like a western imageboard (at least for me, Class of 09 reeks obvious attempt at pandering to the Katawa Shoujo crowd).
I watched the video and I think Ben The Looney might be one of those lolcows that has plot armor like DSP. He got so lucky with the three incidents he got involved with.

I literally just imagined a 30 y/o man at his computer typing this up the whole time because it's written like an adult man attempting to emulate teen girls and the voice acting doesn't sell it, it just makes it really cringe and kind of creepy.
I know I'm late because I tend to not pay a whole lot of attention to this dude since his stuff is just kinda bad but seeing it blow up made me want to say something.

I mean, I can't fault him for using the website as intended. It's pretty common for people to come here after having bad experiences with an eceleb or community and I don't think it's a good idea to shit on those people or try and drive them away just because they popped up before, talked some shit and left. Insiders with regrets should be welcomed in with open arms more than anyone imo, you never really know what they might divulge when comfortable.

I played Class of 09 a couple of weeks ago and discovered this thread since I was curious if there was one on the game itself. I'm pretty surprised that the creator has a thread here, even though I shouldn't be.
I won't deny that there wasn't shit that made me laugh, and 90% of it was from Kylar or Jeffery’s lines. The character sprites are pleasant to look at, though that is only because of the artist behind them. Such a shame their art is wasted on this title. At least the characters dress and look like they're from the 2006-2010 era of North America.
The writing on the other hand is, in a word, bad. Despite it claiming to be an anti-dating sim, it doesn't feel like one. Instead, it feels like Macks uses Nicole as a spokesperson for his own views.
Having a cast of characters without any redeemable traits is an unpleasant experience, made worse by Nicole being annoying, spiteful, narcissistic and self centered. I guess that's why its appealing to the average twitter user who weren’t teens during the early 2000s.
Then there's the almost cartoonish way every single male member of the cast is portrayed in; they're all either rapists, potential murderers, mentally unstable or all of the above. If Macks really wanted to make a weeb looking game that tackles real teen issues, then he should start by learning how to write dark themes with proper tact (especially when it comes to pedophiles in the school system… contrary to what Class of 09 wants you to think, the majority of pedophiles in the public school system tend to be women preying on the most vulnerable teen boys they can find).
Come to think of it, the school shooting ending is my favorite because Jeffery did nothing wrong. There, I said it. Never thought I'd be defending a fictional school shooter, but here we are.
What's made worse by all of this is that there is potential for some really compelling and complex characters, given the pieces of the puzzle given by the writing. Unfortunately, none of them are fleshed out because I doubt Macks actually talks to real people.
Every route somehow managed to feel too short while also dragging on far too long. I can't quite put my finger on it, but half of the time it feels like I'm sitting through a lecture rather than a visual novel.
All in all, I can only give it a 3/10. The character art and CGs are the only saving grace of this otherwise insufferable visual novel.

If that video is anything to go by, Macks is really going overdrive with pandering to antisocial shut-ins, particularly of the variety sort that run those ultra-generic "EPIC IRONIC MEMES, AMIRITE?" accounts that infest Xitter and every other big online platform these days. Those creatures, quite literally, have zero idea of how females actually talk (their sole reference is usually their mommies, assuming the motherly figure hasn't deserved them early in life, just like in Macks' case), so it's only a given they'll pretend something as contrived and aspergian as Class of 09 is a worthwhile product.
