This should surprise absolutely nobody. This was always going to end in at least divorce. A Marriage is unrevivable in this mess. There is a point where codependency collapses and it becomes every man for themselves. No one sane awaiting trial on child endangerment charges would publicly imply separation from his five young children in these circumstances is a good thing. Nick Rekieta, who is probably a malignant narcissist in the sociopathic range, might think it, but would never say it aloud. Bad optics. Rekieta needs to keep doing that caring father, loving husband bit for the duration of his trial or until his possible plea deal is concluded.
