What's more likely to me is the ownership of the house. If the house is under the name of someone else in the family or the trust fund, maybe they wanted Aaron to buy it an essentially transfer ownership of it to April or Nick. My understanding is that the people staying in Nick's new crack shack were relatives. My best guess is it was Kayla's sister who lives locally and goes to the same church.
