The coop taught every subject except 1-2 that they did at home. They had assessments on those at the coop. They were there 3-4 days a week. They would be missed. The coop was hosted through the church as well, so doubly missed.

Minnesota requires homeschoolers to maintain meticulous records or lesson plans, syllabi, and records of assessments. They were not doing a free-range education by any means.

I understand the requirements. My comment was in the context of the statement that the younger two had not been appearing (at least missing enough for notice) at their coop school (I'm soft-peddling what was said). If they not attending at all, or mostly not, I'm 100% certain that they were not getting an adequate alternative at home).

The extracurriculars were organised through the church-affiliated coop, local schools, and they went to others with people they met at the coop.

There were plenty of opportunities for people to miss them.

That's what I think. Ties into my worst day theory.

I've been close to people like Nick in terms of family and they are generally the ones to initiate cheating. I don't say this in defense of Kayla because she belongs in an oven right beside Nick. But I think it was inevitable for Nick to get bored, no inciting event required.

I've mentioned it before but Nick's psychological profile seems very similar to Elliot Rodger, except Nick is not autistic in addition to being a narcissist, so unlike Elliot Rodger, he landed a mid hoe and got married. My theory with Elliot was always that if he had ever managed to get a girlfriend, it would never be good enough for him because narcissists are obsessively jealous and always grow bored of people or objects eventually once they no longer are getting attention for them.

Like many a narcissist before him, internet fame was the death knell for Nick because it provided him validation without demanding hardly any work. He was already coasting along in life with minimal effort, but now he didn't even have to pretend to be working at the law office. It also explains his declining quality of his work and broken promises to his supporters, because he deceived himself into believing that people would support him unconditionally (narcissistic delusion).

I could believe either one of them initiated opening the marriage but I don't think the event was some Hindenburg upon his life. By that point I think he was already admiring people like Dick and open to degeneracy, and probably considering the idea that he could do better than Kayla (peerless Youtuber that he is). His ego probably wouldn't be too bruised by his wife getting fucked because he already has a twisted view of what loyalty means by virtue of his narcissism.
