So the colonies are picking a new govenor general or whatever they call them to replace the kenyan fellow they had last time.

The choice this year is between a ginger tax dodging democrat oaf and a reptoid dynastic politician up to her neck in lies and corruption. As ever the contest between red and blue has been riveting, with much grabbing of pussies and hiding of emails.

We have a thread charting the campaigns but the big day deserves its own thread.

Why yes I am very comfortable saying that. I don't even live in the USA but Hillary being voted into office would have made feminists and SJW everywhere even more entitled and retarded than usual. Instead they'll cry salty tears, and with luck some of them will probably kill themselves.

Exactly what do you think is going to happen? You're almost certainly no worse off under Trump than you would have been under Hillary.

The states which do shitty things are still going to do shitty things. Congress is still going to do shitty things and it's sure as shit not going to be Trump's puppet.

Trump may well be the shittiest President for a while. If so, he's going to be a one term wonder and both the GOP and the Democrats will hopefully have learned a lesson about offering the people candidates and policies they actually *want* to vote for instead of playing the "vote against the other guy because he's worse than us" game.

A Hillary win would have encouraged the Democrats to keep on playing the same old game. Now, both major parties have to rethink their future and that may be the very best thing to come out of this.
