So the colonies are picking a new govenor general or whatever they call them to replace the kenyan fellow they had last time.

The choice this year is between a ginger tax dodging democrat oaf and a reptoid dynastic politician up to her neck in lies and corruption. As ever the contest between red and blue has been riveting, with much grabbing of pussies and hiding of emails.

We have a thread charting the campaigns but the big day deserves its own thread.

It'll probably sound :autism: but I think that the SJWs have had an influence in this election. It's debatable as to the size of that influence, but I'll lay money that it's there.

There's been a substantial number of former left wingers coming out and saying that the SJW movement has effectively fucked up pretty much everything that the left has always supported and campaigned for. Equal rights for women and various flavours of minorities, all well and good. Restructuring the educational and business hierarches, let's go. Environmentalism, just make sure that the tree you hump has smooth bark otherwise you will do some serious damage to your genitals. And with the long term push things are indeed changing. And then the SJWs come screaming in and where there's been reasonable dialogue going back and forth between different camps, it's now drowned out by the howls of rabid lunatics as they rush about, tearing all manner of things and shitting all over it as the rightists grab their machetes and start a blood bath.

I think that at least some voters would see Trump as their best option to get the SJWs and other social extremists to sit down and shut the fuck up. And given how many former leftists have been effectively forced over to the right by SJWs, I wouldn't be surprised if said leftists decided to take the long term view of getting Trump into office so he can get rid of the SJWs and leave a clean slate behind him, leaving the leftists to resume their good work and be taken seriously again.

I see the difference every time I return to Pennsylvania to visit family. I've been fortunate enough to make it into America #1. We should all be in America #1.

This is now Trump's America. I don't know what that means beyond knowing who is gonna get the shaft and who isn't. It all depends on whether or not he can deliver anything he's promised. I don't believe he can, but hell, I've been wrong about this man along every step along this yellow brick road. Maybe he can do it after all.

I'm in England and it's nearly 5am here but I'm too engrossed in the salt to sleep. I have to be up at 8, I'm gonna be so dead this afternoon.

I'll give you the first hand view as a member of this minority group. I often call myself "70s-style social leftist" because I believe in asserting one's right to exist and be free without crying for someone to do it for you or otherwise looking like a pathetic, whining weasel. This isn't what the original movements for justice were about at all. This is sitting on your arse, crying on Twitter about the fact that freedom isn't free.

Modern SJWism is a disgrace. Cloaking your destructive violence in activism (BLM) is a despicable maneuver that would make Martin Luther King Jr.'s coffin power a small town. I'm hoping we see a repudiation of this now and with someone as reasonable as Trump, some open dialogue on fair solutions that benefit everyone.
 
I'm pissed off about the goddamn polls, if you can't at least believe statistical averages and stuff then how the fuck can you follow the game? This isn't football, it's not immediately obvious who caught the fucking thing or even who threw it
