I'm genuinely curious why you think it's morally justified. Is it because it exposes the abuse that was going on at home? I feel like that's hedged by the future damage it could do to the children. But I can see it going both ways.
 
I am angriest because a lot of what Rekieta just said in his cope stream was not wrong. You should not trust the govt. They will grind you under their heel if you find yourself in their sites. You are innocent until proven guilty. Ask Null. The process is the punishment.
However. these charges against Nick and Kayla are for drugs. And neglecting their children. Now it appears, allowing a child access to cocaine. All alleged. You better have a good defense and explain how and why the govt would plant drugs. Why your children came to the attention of your community. How the govt specifically saw you as any type of threat to them that they would aim to destroy you.

Sure hope the case is televised. Also hope that Kayla's atty is paying attn. Let's see how fast Nick throws her under the bus.
 
That's despicable! How low can you go. Those kids need to be placed with people that will love and care for them.

Fuck me! He's definitely going to end up doing time in prison isn't he? There's no way he's pulling a Saul Goodman and just making this all disappear. There's no way in hell that any judge will be lenient towards this level of child endangerment and neglect even as a first time offender :stress:

I'm not sure how leaking legitimate evidence in a case taints a jury if it's evidence that was going to be presented regardless. I agree with the judicial bias argument but that would require conclusively determining it was a court agent, and apparently the document was accessible via a public terminal.

Yes it would be presented to a jury anyways BUT ONLY AFTER the trail has started and only after THE DEFENSE HAS SEEN IT beforehand and had time to prepare a defense. There are a few SCOTUS cases that have delt with that. They have determined that evidence presented without informing the defendant beforehand (unless it is a very rare set of circumstances) is unconstitutional and grounds for a mistrail.
 
The 9 year old is the one that crawls in bed with nick and kayla right.... im guessing theres probubly alot of drugs and who knows what other substances... and liquids are in and on that bed

This may be a stupid question, pls no bully, but if this is testing the hair, could it just be that cocaine residue left on the hair when either Nick or Kayla's face makes contact with the hair (in a hug or something), and since the kids seem to not be washed, this has just built up over time? Or is it that hair follicles can only turn up positive like this due to actual drug use? Not trying to noseguard here, I'm just hoping the kids didn't end up in contact with the drugs too.
