This isn’t taking the piss.

Maybe back when he was a teenager or younger guy he got raped by some older guy, a teacher, school mate, one of his dad’s rodeo colleagues who couldn’t find his dad, who also belittled him while doing it.

Marriage to Adrienne could have been in part a way of proving to himself that he was a real man and not a dirty little queer or victim.

This is complete speculation of course, but it would be yet another explanation to his fragile ego and constant need to prove he is a tough guy.

He wasn’t always fat. Earlier photos of him have him as slim as a normal human.

Maybe he unconsciously let himself get fat?

Like some women are known to do as a response to the trauma. It’s not unknown for a woman to make herself unattractive as a way of “protecting” herself from it happening again.

So Pat will be fine, provided he doesn’t meet any determined chubby chasers.

I know it sounds like I am taking the piss, but in my defense it’s pretty much impossible to feel sympathy for Patrick even if this turns out to be true.

Rape is horrible no matter who it happens to, even Patrick.
But if he wasn’t such a garbage human it would be possible to speculate without slipping in a barbed jibe.

Ah twas a classic....swear to god that the city of milwaukee provides me more entertainment than entire fucking continents at this point solely because of fatrick and RLM and reruns of true crime documentaries about Jeffrey Dahmer
