Maybe it's the lateness of the hour following a stressful work day but I'm confused here. How can you waive service on a lawsuit if you haven't been served with it to know you're being sued, which then means you've been served already and can no longer waive service?

As we see from Greer, et al, service is more than just the initial lawsuit, but lots of other court documents and shit. You can also be informed without being served.

yeah I immediately thought that too, but Dan's been kinda retarded sometimes so it's hard to tell. For the best laughs it could be there is enough evidence from Alan/Alan's EQ that actually links Pat to a self swat and that is under wraps.
