That kind of statement is just the kind of splitting she engages in when someone does something she wants or needs but finds humiliating to need to ask for -- thank them for it to their face, then denigrate the group they're a part of to your social media followers.

When tumblr social justice caught on. There have always been overly obsessed gay fangirls, but back in the day I don't think they pretended it was anything, just a fetish they got off to. Now they just justify it by pretending it's progressive and if you don't believe the entire cast of a show/book/movie/game is gay that makes you a homophobe.

I don't know where you are from, but the same themes have been very popular among fujoshi for more than a decade. It only grew in notoriety among fringe normies after tumblr, the principle was already big and feminine men have been a popular topic in manga for a while even before that.

God I hope they really did save Karen.

The drawing on her Feb 16, 2016 entry is kinda sad considering how the real Karen is nowhere near as happy now.
