The only famous Astrid I know is Astrid Lindgren who wrote children’s classics like Pippi Longstocking, Ronja the Robbers daughter and Emil.

I suspect she would have been a TERF like Germaine Greer, who she probably knew, and JK Rowling.

Pippi for instance despite being quite stereotypically male in her behavior was very clearly a girl and not pretending to be anything else.
Astrid was also very keen on children being children and having a time of innocence. I think she would be very rightfully suspicious of drag story hour and “trans kids”.

I'm in the hospital at the moment - I broke my tibia and fibula yesterday. When they were taking my medical history I disclosed that I'd been taking Tgel from a private clinic but ran out a few weeks ago (true, thanks GGP...) I am probably being discharged tomorrow and just saw that the hospital has given me a new bottle of Tgel amongst my discharge medication! I'm so happy, that really buys me time to sort out a new source.

Off hand I think about Victoria Beckham being open about needing treatment for how her obsession with wearing stilettos has affected her feet. Just because women walk around confidently in heels doesn’t mean they feel comfortable, and that dainty tiny feet make it easier but I’m sure a man’s 13 feels awful supported on a tiny stick held together with a strap or two.

I get your point, but you've got to admit Beckham is an outlier case - barring the most devoted to their power heels (and I'm a shoe afficionado myself, in the right circumstances), I think most women save shoes like that for special occasions. You just kind of accept a certain amount of bunions in exchange for your feet being a literal work of art at that friend's wedding/ HS reunion/ whatever, but hell would freeze over before you'd wear the things daily.

For sure! It’s also why a lot of them live in bisexual lighting and cheap AliExpress goth bondage gear. They want to emulate the women they want to fuck.
