I don't think Barnes is just doing this for the grift, or to absorb Nick's paypigs. That is a very logical and plausible explanation for why he is noseguarding as hard as he is, but it doesn't explain why he is sperging out and blocking anyone who questions his "legal analysis". That strikes me as him being overly emotional about this, and caring on a personal level more than just the financial. I can't fully explain it because I've only followed his commentary on Rittenhouse and his takes on Rekieta.

Maybe he has some powdery demons in his closet and can too easily put himself in Nick's shoes. Or maybe he just swallowed the schizo pill a little too hard. Who knows.

Even when accused of sexual abuse by the children themselves, fathers are more likely than not to get custody when they ask. Only 1 in 51 children are believed by the courts. More people should know about that. It’s why Nick is definitely not losing custody if Kayla divorced him now like some people on here have mentioned they want to happen. We know judges love letting pedos off the hook, more than even journalists, this is just another example

I'm pressing X on this theory. Drexel might be a dorky looking lanklet but he's still a negro aware of the law. There's a reason even the kid he did that weird grooming stuff with didn't go hot until they were legal. I'm glad some of you claim to have been a tough child who was completely taking care of themselves everyday by age 10 and claim that Nick's eldest is some kind of failure for being unable to take care of 4 kids by himself in an environment where his parents were drunk or coked out everyday with their swinging buddies. You sound like obtuse retards because no matter how awesome and tough you guys think you were as a child it's completely irrelevant. It's not up to 6 year olds to make sure they are fed and have clean clothes nor is it the legal responsibility of their 16 year old older sibling to make sure instead. It's up to their parents to make sure that they are. You can give a child the responsibility to do their own washing and to feed themselves, sure, but whether or not that's being done or not is still the responsibility of their parents.

Their parents didn't make sure, they're legally responsible to make sure that their six year old had breakfast and dinner that day whether or not they're capable of taking care of it themselves. No matter how much you think kids are responsible for their own upkeep is irrelevant, legally their parents are still responsible to make sure that these needs are met. This is why parents are legally held responsible to make sure their kids actually go to school. Cause even though the kid might decide to skip classes it's still the parents responsibility to make sure that they don't. You might disagree with this but it's the legal fact.

I worry about the possibility April was left alone for any length of time unsupervised with the 16 year old son. That she may have offered him drugs when the parents were off doing whatever since she was the new live in nanny. I certainly wouldn’t trust that woman around my son.

It is not obfuscating by saying technically yes a 16 year old is capable of feeding and clothing younger children. It’s really an extra indictment on Nick that there wasn’t even food for the kids to grab, even the 6 year old could open a fridge and get a snack, seems like that was not even an option though. No one has said they’re at fault or legally responsible or a failure, in fact I went out of my way to say they weren’t and still you sperged. No shit the parents are legally responsible, you’re making up arguments to defeat in your own head.

I'm sure that if Nick takes the stance of "I'm a failure of a parent and despite being a coked out sex-pervert they're still best off with me" it's going to go over really well with PBS. I agree that as much as I dislike Nick and Skeletor the kids are likely to be best off with them whether assuming they stop the drinking, drug use and swinging around them. But the idea that their behavior as parents should be held to no standard is insane.
