In defense of Ofc. Pomplun's handwriting (and may God forgive me, defending the police about anything): I think he was writing it down in a hurry, on a clipboard that he just held in his hands the whole time. Would YOU want to set any piece of your property down unprotected onto the surfaces of the Coompound? They'd have to tag it for hazardous waste disposal.
 
I hope the judge violates every constitutional right he has by forcing him onto the stand at gun point and compelling him to give testimony as to the meaning of that fucking Mexican/repair joke.

Yeah, this is legitimately strange to me. It's supposed to be literal instinct within a person to wince at the prospect of child abuse.

Even giving benefit of the doubt (which I know I shouldn't -- I'm mostly doing a "for the sake of argument" thing here) and accepting at face value that they believe Nick is being railroaded and they believe they're being good friends to him by adopting this position, why in god's name are they acting like children are non-credible witnesses to abuse, especially when the allegation is they are being abused and others have also witnessed it?

Don't people like this typically leap to "protect the children," or are these more the "lol kids suck breeders suck get rekt children" type?

Just how open were they about the weird swinging shit that the community noticed? Was leaving her at home that difficult? I feel for those kids. More obvious care issues aside, being around a cheating/swinging parent can really mess up a kid mentally.

He did his first year at a community college in the minneapolis area (school unknown). He then transferred to southwest minnesota state. Southwest Minnesota State is a really low-end rural state college which is just barely above a community college. Anyone can get in.

His degree was in "creative writing". It was an English Department degree where he could avoid most of the otherwise required literature and reading classes needed for an english degree. Its an absolute joke of a degree that you could do with barely any effort at all.

Nick spent his first year at the college playing video games in his dorm room. He lived in the dorms for all three years. He eventually took up male cheerleading and met his wife. Having a real live girlfriend and being older than everyone else in the dorms gave him a certain prestige toward the end of college. He had lots of underwear parties in his dorm room with his buddies and dumb girls..

Nick was a high school nerd who never got near a girl until his wife. He was heavy into porn from a young age and also into watching those 1990s teen sex comedy movies. Nick watched porn and those teen sex movies and thought that there was a magical world out there that he dreamed that he could be a part of .

Nick got his degree and got an entry level job at Welles Fargo. Nick's wife dropped out of college and dreamed of being a stay at home baby factory. My theory is that Nick's parents were all on board with him having a large brood of children and being brought to reality through having a family.
 
I feel bad for Kurt. Everyone knew the one autistic kid at school who was super smart and latched onto people thinking they were friends, only to find out that kid ditched them for being an uncool autistic.

Kurt is probably reliving some childhood trauma there. Nick is such an ass.

i think it was supposed to be a dumb joke in the same vein of ralph saying all he needs to know how to say in spanish in mexico is how to ask for a beer. except being able to write just the word "repair" is kinda pointless but hes drug addled so hes not actually thinking of the logistics of anything. i guess in his mind a mexican would advertise being able to repair your floors with a sign saying "repair" as he stands outside home depot
