The saddest part is that once Aaron left no one was taking care of the kids anymore and that’s what caused it to get this bad. Track marks wow… It makes sense why they waited a week to do the raid then considering the allegations are serious but don’t appear to be immediate danger. It’s interesting how there’s like double hearsay here of the pastor saying what others told him they observed. Clothes not being washed and the kids not being fed are 2 things that someone with money could easily deal with, it seems like once the nanny left the Rekeita’s were so fucked up they couldn’t even manage to find a solution to those two very simple problems.

It’s wild that they let people from the church into the house when it was such a mess and cluttered to see that. Plus having April and Aaron practically living there. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the police interview or have interviewed the children and the state of the home is much worse than what was indicated in the report. What surprises me the most is that they didn’t try to delegate parental responsibilities on their older children.
