  5. Acceptance won't happen until the the court and CPS situation is resolved, in all likelihood a plea deal. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
Archive everything. You know they will all pretend to have been right from the beginning and we will need the receipts to counter their rationalizations.

This morning I came across one of the most intensely retarded takes I've seen about this aside from the lawtube conspiracy theories. This came from Legal Noseguard's stream chat. Maybe one of the most retarded takes I've seen on anything period.

Yeah, there's some little girls in my neighborhood who keep digging for food out of garbage cans and begging door-to-door because their parent(s) won't feed them but I didn't pop them out so I don't care. I'm pretty sure there's drug deals going on at the house next door where I know there's kids and the mom is constantly getting beaten by her boyfriends, but I didn't birth those kids so I don't care. I've noticed this little boy is always always being dropped off at daycare by a guardian who's clearly intoxicated. But you know what? I didn't conceive and carry him so I'm going to look away.

If outsiders don't worry about the Rekieta (and Amholte) children, who will? Because their parents sure as fuck don't. If they did they wouldn't have decided to flip a switch after 20 years and start living like early 20s trailer trash thug junkies. Let me guess, their extended family shouldn't worry about the kids either? Should an ER doctor not make a police report when he or she sees a kid brought in with clear signs of sickness or injury from sexual abuse? Should a teacher just not give a shit when one of her students keeps coming to class with new bruises, scratches, and dirty clothing?

Regarding clergy, it's not very Christian to just sit back and ignore very obvious cases of neglect and abuse within your congregation, leadership position or not. Sexual degeneracy aside, there's nothing Christian about dropping coke bullets around 4 year-olds. Assuming the 16 y/o confided in Bro. Melin probably multiple times (as theorized), was he really just supposed to ignore it and let the chips fall? We don't know what Bro. Melin has personally witnessed and we don't know what all he was told. I don't think he could've lived with himself if he didn't say anything and then a kid died from overdosing or shooting themselves.

Christian or otherwise, society has to care about the welfare of ALL children (whether its preventing abuse or just making sure kids have a safe park to play in) because THEY ARE OUR FUTURE. Abuse is generational, cyclical. By taking children away from horrible parents we hope we did so in time to prevent them from becoming their parents. You don't have to be a "kid person" to care. All these r/childfree sociopaths, for example, will be relying on everyone else's kids and grandkids to wipe their ass in a nursing home one day because their wholesome pupperinos can't do it. Ignoring abuse just passes the buck down the road. Sure, not everything is everyone else's responsibility, but unfortunately because humans suck, are fucking retarded, and are often downright evil, we at the very least have to keep an eye out, not just for kids but for all vulnerable people.

I don't say this lightly: the person who wrote this chat message should, if not jump in front of a moving freight train, commit suicide out in the woods. It needs to be the woods because they are not worth the embalming chemicals, vault, and coffin that would be required to give them a funeral; aren't worth the grave plot or stone. Aren't worth the morgue space they'd take up as a John or Jane Doe. Aren't worth the crematory fire or the urn. If they die in the woods then nature at least can benefit from their rotting corpse. I find the deer that will eat the grass fertilized by their corpse to be far more valuable. Deer are fucking majestic. Circle of life! Possibly a bit MATI but I don't really give a shit at this point.

Right. I know this thread has moved a million miles an hour, but I’ve more or less kept up. What I haven’t seen many people mention, including the commentary people like Kino Casino, is where Nick and Kayla’s families are in this situation. IIRC their families were quite involved in their lives, and I have to think that at least a couple of them told the pair to “pull up” on at least a few occasions. Small town Minnesota? This is probably absolutely humiliating to the family and EVERYONE will know about it.

Here’s to hoping Ty Beard can step in and give Nick his best representation. You know, like the one Vic got. :really:

The same reason they keep trying to inject the Child Neglect report from the Pastor as Hearsay. When they know damn well legally Mandatory Reporters are not Hearsay. They aren't "some random phoning it in" or Swatting.

They are making a sworn report based on what they have observed. Filtered through their training and experience. They are required by law to do this. And can face horrifying legal repercussions if they fail to act. It's a responsibility that none of them asked for, and all of them are verified of.

But they do have certain legal protections. You'll notice none of these morons are saying Nick should sue the Pastor. Because he really can't. At least not reasonably. (I will confess to being not 100% sure how it works with Clergy. Most other Mandatory Reporters fall under Qualified Immunity or the laws that shield Health Care providers.)
