Let me tell you about an addictive mind. They put Nick on color code, that means random colors are called every day, randomly. The colors shift so frequently that no one can really tell what is a high priority color. Nick is just now getting his color, he's thinking, 'I can test positive for a little longer..' So he's quietly drinking and snorting the emergency cocaine. In a few days, less than a week, they'll call his color and he'll know, this is the most positive I can test going forward. Then he falls into the loop of trying to figure out how long he can do alcohol and cocaine before he tests positive. He calls color code at 12:01 Friday morning, they don't call his color, it's a license to drink and snort for 8 hours, each are a 3-day life in your urine. One day, he will get loose, instead of 8 hours, it'll be 14, he'll have a little extra, then the system designed to let addicts hang themselves will snap tight.

God bless the people who see the cycle and try to correct. Nick is sinking, Nick can't be saved.

Aaron cannot be redeemed, spilling the beans about all of this just gives him a bit of piece of mind and his 15 minutes of fame. I think the only thing I feel any empathy for him on was the story about Nick bringing drugs to his house while the kids are around.

Nobody in this swinger nightmare has a new lease on life, just a long dark climb to see if they can even get somewhere remotely close to how things were before everything transpired. I will grant Aaron is the most willing but then again he didn't catch any charges despite being an enabler at the time. It's all so grimey.

Nobody buying that much coke isn’t a daily user. I’ve used VERY infrequently, split an 8 ball with a buddy of mine here and there, it would last me about 5-6 days of doing two decent lines a night.

I can’t imagine buying and using that much that frequently. By day three I’m just doing lines because it’s there and so I don’t have to want it because it’s still m there, but honestly it stops being that fun and just starts to hurt your head. At that point I have no desire to use again for a long time. And that’s after very little use relatively speaking.

Anybody who gets through the bag they’re on and HAS to get another is fucked, passed the point of no return. You’re totally fried and need help

Agree, I think redemption for him would be not commenting other than saying you were totally in the wrong, and fundamentally changing your life. Difficult to do.

He's in this position because he had a core lack of morals and consciousness. Going on show, gossiping, and making pathetic self deprecating jokes at very serious failures is not redemption.

Same thing for Nick.
