No jokes, I think this is one reason why Jim was so audibly upset and bothered. He reiterates Nick has all of these life joys and benefits a lot of people can't obtain but then crashed it into the ground for nothing. Jim had plans, he wanted a family but as he's said, it isn't possible now and even if he left a kid behind, his condition is possibly genetic and he doesn't want that. Sad shit.
That makes me MATI as fuck too. I live in a 3rd world shithole, growing up was NOT easy, more money than the other kids but nowhere near loaded, and harder in other ways. I too have health issues. And even right now, issues and all, I would fucking kill to be teleported to some cushy Midwest town. And no, I'm too goddamn broke to get there the non-boat person way. And will probably always be. Fuck you, Nick. Not only were you born with a silver spoon to your mouth, you built a channel that you then pissed away on extremely ephemeral pleasures. God, the audacity of it all, the sheer fucking hubris and ungratefulness.

I had a long chat to a friend of mine that has some contacts and they have dropped the name of who Nick is hiring to represent himself and Kayla.
I kid you not it blew my mind that he could convince this guy to take the case.

If that were the case, they would have done that with her charge too. If abuse is happening the one doing it was either someone we dont know about or a minor since their charges arent public
Maybe they put the neglect charge out first to pressure her on a plea for the drug charge? Or as others suggested, a kid got into the drugs, so there is no party to charge for the abuse incident itself.

I feel like I should give some insight into mandatory reporters, as while I believe that the priest did the right thing I know how many don’t.
When I was involved, as a child, in very similar situations the mandatory reporters who were schoolteachers somehow found a way to use that status to threaten the kids with trouble. Basically, “if what you say is true you might be taken away from mommy because I’d have to tell the police. Do you really want that? Do you really want to be taken away from mommy?”
Like no, I don’t want to be taken away from mommy I want mommy to get better. So you lie. There’s a lot of people out there who truly don’t care, and just view children in these situations like stray dogs. I believe the priest in this case is a real nigga who did the right thing, but not a lot of people know the other side.
Trust me, every single second of every single part of this is absolutely horrible for the kids. I know I’m alogging, but I would genuinely love to beat the ever-loving fuck out of Nick and Kayla right now for what those kids are going through. I would break them like dry twigs were it legal and within my power. Words can’t describe how much I hate people like that because I know first hand what it does to the children.
They will never recover, scars fade but they’re still there in the end.

I could see that, or one kid might have got mad and slugged another kid. It doesnt have to be serious ongoing abuse, you can charge people for anything, a charge isnt proof.

Wouldn't nick get the abuse charge instead? Or Kayla charges is aiding or complicity?
Sean pointed out in his stream earlier that there will probably be a fair amount of investigating in terms of the neglect/abuse charges, and there could be more charges in the future. It's only been a few days, and there are five children who all probably have a lot to say to investigators. Maybe Kayla being complicit is all the cops could prove for right now, so that's all they charged.

you're asking if demonic curses are a real thing?
I would not call it demonic curses, but after a few years of consideration and listening to Woo Woo Batshit things like The Why Files I am actually beginning to consider that Positive and Negative energies do exist and well Chris is so surrounded by Negativity that I wouldn't discount some effect.

Edit : I do accept all Trash Cans and Puzzle Piece for this post.

I am once again reminding kiwis that Jim is 42 years old, and that his cancer-AIDS affliction began only four years ago. He had plenty of time to have kids before then but chose not to because he is not, in fact, a based & trad savior of the West, but your average DINK with the exception of liking edgy humor.
Who gives a fuck if the guy who fucked his girlfriend on a livestream is le based trad savior of the huwhite race. He's just some funny guy on the Internet. If you want purity culture, go to like /pol/ or read a Breitbart article.

/Pol/ is full of pajeet kumars sharing pics of buttholes, so about the biggest purity spiral on the Internet

The way Jim started talking about the kids being near drugs made me wonder if the "physical abuse" is that Kayla let one of the kids actually ingest drugs on her watch. Even if they could/would charge a kid for drug crimes, it wouldn't be public knowledge and their identities would be shielded. If a parent knew they did this, could it be coded as "physical abuse" in the system, like the difference between causing a kid to be around drugs and allowing them to use?
This is what I'm thinking, too. There's been a lot of speculation about one of the kids getting into the drugs. If Kayla was the one who was watching the kids when this happened (or supposed to be watching them), I'm thinking that would be considered permitting physical child abuse through neglect.
