More than likely is the kids disclosed how fucking awful the home conditions: no clean clothes, spaghettios, screaming, yelling, strangers in the home, and fuck loads of drug use. The abuse....maybe....but it's not in the complaint.

I'm not gonna rule out anything until I see the evidence. Drug addicts' morality crashes pretty fast. My uncle killed a dude for crack and he did that years after he got addicted.
