I don't think he can do that. The man is such an alcoholic that he clearly has the shakes. If he tried to quit he would need to not just gather all the booze and pouring it down the sink. Not just get rid of all the drugs, not just smash all the paraphernalia. He would need to be man enough to do that while every cell in his body is telling him no and then have the wherewithal and more importantly the balls and humility to go and get himself checked in a hospital for the worst days of his life. All of this having to take place as he is being investigated for stuff that could give him 25 years in prison if it all goes wrong and with the post drug realization of having destroyed your family and your life.
Nicky is a coward and Nicky is a narcissist. He doesn't have the guts to suffer pain and he doesn't believe he deserves to suffer pain.

I said this other day but what is the expectation. A lot of these rando lawtubers at most thought Nick was going a bit hard on the sauce and are now spiralling to understand what exactly happened to their friend and how the Nick they knew ended up like this.

Realistically how does someone who isn’t in nicks family who doesn’t even live near Nick “hold Nick accountable”.

These lawtubers huff their own farts and don’t pay too much attention to what other streamers are doing, unless their name is being dropped or the big numbers are being pulled in and they want in on the gravy and clout.

Once Nick’s numbers crashed and he stopped doing trial coverage he basically fell off their radar. The content churn means they have to start spouting off about shit asap to coattail ride the sudden interest. Since they don’t know much, and don’t want to alienate a guy they remember as a big YT. They also aren’t “drama tubers” so have to try and pretend to be mature lawyers while mining drama. So they look for something to scapegoat and blame for poor Nick’s troubles and ofc “pray for kids/family” stuff.

Most of these YT think “haters” (aka anyone not boot licking and supporting) are boogeymen anyway so they are happy to blame someplace they’ve heard is full of trolls.

Nick was obsessed with KF because he knew posters here knew the score. KF had been following him before weeb wars. His coke paranoia was ever growing so he was worried about those noticing the growing problems and posting about it. We were the only place his very obvious drug and booze problem was being discussed, all the other assholes were happy to pretend he was just the rebel, the guy who liked to indulge a bit too much sometimes. They would follow the party line Nick fed them without quibbling.

Nobody can hold Nick accountable for anything, outside of immediate family. The only thing his lawtube circle can be accused of is being oblivious, ignoring a messy problem because it’s “not their business” or fearing Nick could hurt their little streaming grift if they tried to have a word with him or about it….Then deciding they def need to capitalize on the attention in someway that will still get the views but not hurt them or give a take that might them look bad!! Easiest solution is to hang wring, thoughts and prayers and then try and blame some all east target they think has no clout or is already unpopular - like trolls or KF.

The cops show up. Nick asks to see a warrant (totally fair!). Cops show him the warrant. Nick, like the impetuous MAN BABY WILL ALL KNOW HIM TO BE throws the warrant on the ground because he probably realized it's valid, and he's been checkmated.

Then the cops demand the door code. Nick says no, and tells them they're gonna have to do a dynamic entry.

I wrote this yesterday so I'm just going to repost it because I think the points are still valid ...

My reading of the probable cause affidavit suggests the following possibility... That Nick didn't see the warrant until after they busted down the door.

Main point: The cops asked Nick for the door code when they pulled him over at the traffic stop, but before he got a copy of the warrant.

1. Cops arrive at house.
2. Rekieta gets pulled over nearby.
3. Cops ask minor to let them in. She refuses.
4. Cops ask Rekieta at the traffic stop for door code. He refuses.
5. Cops bust down the house door.
6. Cops drive traffic stop Rekieta to the house and show him the warrant.
7. Rekieta throws the warrant on the ground.

That is the story that I think is told by the probable cause affidavit and common sense.

I don't think that we know for a fact whether or not Nick refused the door code before or after seeing the search warrant.

The affidavit is not clear on this point.

My read (and I think common sense suggests) that Nick only saw the search warrant after they drove him back to the house from the traffic stop.

The cop that pulled him over might not have had a copy of the warrant. It might have been at the house.

Also that explains why Nick would throw the warrant on the ground after seeing it for the first time, at his house, with the door busted in.

It also explains the refusal of the door code. (He hadn't yet seen the warrant when refusing to give the code at the traffic stop)

There is an alternative story, which is that Nick refused to give the code after seeing a copy of the warrant at the traffic stop. Then when he gets back to the house, he is given another second copy of the warrant, and throws that copy on the ground.

Which makes more sense?
