FINALLY I have good hair!​

I'm approaching 14 months HRT. My old hair was really pretty poor: absolutely baby-fine and utterly resistant to styling.

This improved considerably with my anti-androgen wiping testosterone from my system entirely, yay spiro! Also I was given a box of Rogaine and that seems to have helped.

I have been in shockingly bad economic conditions so going to a salon is out of the question.

Last December an organization gave me a free haircut, and that was so emotional for me, I had to stop them six times to blow my nose.

Well, by May that style no longer deserved the noun, as it was getting mulletish and making me a Very Sad Panda.

But on Mother's Day my co-mom gave me a beautiful lesbian undercut bob. And yesterday I found a bleach kit for 80% off, and knew it was meant to be.

I finished applying it yesterday, added "Pothead" (my homemade hair product, extremely heavy hold) and it looks SO GOOOOD

This is why the troons that claim autism meltdown defense are fakers. It is not merely the feeling of being overwhelmed.

A meltdown is physically and mentally painful, to the point where the best solution when there is no outside assistance for the worse off autist is to assume the fetal position and wait for it to pass. It may start as a mild feeling of being overwhelmed (the warning stage), but if the situation is not immediately able to be exited or ended, the autist has the extreme adverse reaction of a meltdown.
Higher functioning autists are similar, isolating themselves as quickly as possible in order to ride out the symptoms. The actual physical feel of an autistic meltdown shares a lot in common with an asthma attack, heart attack, or a bad drug reaction and the mis-firing synapses fighting with social conditioning and the remaining logic is incredibly overwhelming and can cause painful headaches, blurry vision, and overheating. Much like a wild animal in pain, autists will become violent towards outside contact, surroundings, and themselves. This is why touching them during meltdowns should only be done in a true emergency, as restraining them or pinning them down only makes the panic aspect worse (this is why autists have been killed by cops in the past).

It is called a meltdown because it is very much like a nuclear meltdown, the only real solution is to isolate and wait, anything else only endangers everyone involved more and could easily escalate the situation, as the body and mind are in an extreme response mode. It's sometimes compared to the flight or fight response: an autist experiences both at once in a sudden dump of chemicals.

A meltdown is also very emotionally distressing to a true autistic person, because they want it to stop, do not wish to have it, and are suffering from a loss of control over their mind and body. Even the lowest functioning autist will display signs of regret, such as lashing out at themselves or destroying their own items, which speaks further to how much a meltdown affects rationality. Higher functioning autists suffer even more when the meltdown happens as they have a higher understanding of societal norms and how it feels to be normal, so a meltdown is an even greater horror, and can be compared to the idea of getting possessed by a demon while the victim is unable to do much of anything to stop it except drag their physical shell to a position or area where they will not harm anyone else.
Most functioning autists are loathe to admit they get meltdowns, and prefer to only discuss it with other autists as they feel a sense of shame at what the meltdown causes and struggle heavily with the loss of control that non-autists insist they should just "get over" or be put on meds should they admit to sometimes having one as an adult. There is also a worry of being institutionalized for a meltdown if occurs in a situation where the autist cannot immediately remove themselves from the situation and people with good intentions touch them and further trigger the physical part of a meltdown. Cognitive speech also becomes difficult during a meltdown, which is further embarrassing and distressing.
A lot of autists also suffer from meltdowns having caused them to destroy things that they held dear- gifts, momentos, personal relationships and trust: which causes grief and mourning as well as heightened depression and anxiety.

There is also frustration, as meltdowns can occur without prompt. Most autists know their pain points- packed crowds with lots of physical contact is the most widely used example- and will be proactive in avoiding those. It's the unexpected ones that are the most miserable.

For example: a dishwasher full of clean dishes that must be put away can be the breaking point for an autist that lives on their own. The other stressors at play (homework to do, take the dog for a walk, cook dinner, pay that bill that came in the mail last week etc, need to pack for an upcoming trip, etc.) lead to an sudden overwhelming sense of time pressure and stress, which if the autist cannot immediately and quickly identify that they are about to have a meltdown, might cause them to take the closest plate from the dishwasher and smash it. It happens to be one with sentimental value, and the meltdown spirals worse into direct or indirect self harm.
Non-autists will have felt that mounting sense of stress and pressure far sooner, in smaller waves that allows them to process it. For the autist, it hits all at once like a sledgehammer out of the blue, and no amount of planning or drugs can fix the brain not releasing and processing those emotions and chemicals in a timely manner.

They are not non-fuctional (all of those tasks will get done, and they don't require help to do so, and they will clean up whatever mess the meltdown caused and move on) but their body and mind have a reaction to the moment of compounded stress that is extreme. It's a very bleak and scary thing for autists who understand when they have one, and not at all something that they take pride in.

These troons think that some light hand flapping or discomfort at an overly crowded space is a "meltdown" since they already exist in a state of delusion. They make meltdowns something to be blathered about constantly and put on a pedestal. They have none of the worry or shame or guilt that an autist has around a meltdown. They are fine after a supposed meltdown within mere minutes, and have conveniently never once destroyed something of great emotional value to them during these meltdowns. There is never any distress at the meltdown or an attempt to remove themselves from the situation.

Troons taking autism and meltdowns and making them trendy is what damages the autistics who need help, because people see troons and assume that autists can just "snap out" of it or that it just appears when the autist is denied something, or that autists should be able to speak clearly or any of the other damaging bullshit that troons do while faking a meltdown. 🎩

I wonder if these people realize the Palestinian Muslims they're supporting have the same attitude towards trannies that these Iraqis did, and also want them dead.

They are not big on homos.

Brings me to an anecdote.

Once upon a time, over 30 years ago, my relative took a contract position in Riyadh as a health care worker.

They had an extensive orientation in the US that went over all the rules, laws, societal expectations, gave them their first abaya, and searched their luggage for contraband - everything from alcohol to fashion magazines.

Once there, women couldn’t go out to the market unescorted. So there’d be a bunch of female nurses who wanted to go, and they’d get the one male nurse off that day to escort them.

In the workplace, the male nurses often reported sexual harassment and abuse by male patients. The female nurses were actually not treated this way. (For a change.)

Anyway, men were also warned not to go anywhere alone. Not to take taxis and only ride on the agency provided shuttle from the hospital housing compound to civilian areas.

The reason? Frequent abductions and degeneracy.

Just a couple of months before their arrival, two off-duty military contractors disregarded these instructions. These soldiers - who are more than capable of defending themselves (far more capable than a scrawny hospital worker) - ended up in a taxi just after dusk.

They were driven out to the desert, where the taxi driver kicked them out and was handed a wad of money by a guy waiting there. The soldiers were then brutally raped by at least 20 men over the course of 3 or 4 days. They were driven back and left in the street. By that time, people were looking for them and they were promptly rescued and whisked away for medical treatment.

The reports of the injuries they sustained were horrible.

Apparently this was not uncommon. There was a “bounty” paid to any taxi driver or business who would locate and retrieve western men. Blond or red hair and blue eyes fetched the higher prices. Military and muscular men were preferred. (One guy who almost had the same thing happen was really shaken up, but was let go because he was too effeminate. He understood enough Arabic to discern that they were accusing the driver of cutting off a woman’s hair and trying to pass her off as a man.)

My personal experience in health care? Arabs are actually decent patients. They aren’t as handsy and degenerate to female nurses as western men are. They will leer at you, but won’t actually abuse or assault you.

Indian men, on the other hand, will grope, leer, proposition, masturbate in front of you, throw urine/feces and laugh…
 
Yes, my understanding of many part of the Arab world is essentially the women are off limits in a way that can get you beatings and killed, so the Harvey Weinstein/Jeffrey Epstein/general coom driven men refocus on other men in a prison gay way. This is also basically where gay men would exist a lot, the single dude who lived at the end of the street who was open for business because prostitutes weren't.

They also yes have a preference for white people due to the exotic nature. It's not the only culture in history that seems to sort of evolve a way around the problem of men trying to get into the hen house by creating a socially sanctioned alternative
