Doing something stupid like that would just lead to complications during the healing process and dental floss is no where near as strong as medical grade suture materials. You're just putting someone in risk of infection. Just clean the wound and apply pressure until help arrives. If he took First Aid he'd know that. Shit like this is why you always know that Patrick is lying.
 
The way you can tell that Fatprick is ultimately irrelevant to everyone and anyone on Twitter is that hardly anyone called him out on that story, that shit is the most ridiculous lie I think I've ever heard, or at least can remember off hand right now.

Like I can almost see where that sort of dumb fib would originate, I used dental floss and a needle to crudely sew together my gym bag when it ripped once and I can see how he might see or even do something similar and think that he could just stuff that shit in a tweet and think it was believable.

I'm mostly with @AnOminous on this one in that I can't imagine what sort of audience he would have that would believe this dumb shit

The floss is stupid and is a problem with his story, but it's far from the biggest problem.

Yeah, I don't think basketball needles could even break through flesh, for that matter. They're generally not very sharp. Did you play a little one-on-one after that with them Pat, to show the admiring crowd what a good job you did? I'd jerk the leg back off and beat him to death with it before expiring with the kind of sad little tooting fart Pat hears at the end of one of his wife's sessions,

There's that too. I don't think he meant a basketball needle but maybe a baseball glove needle. However those are thick as fuck.
 
The disturbing possibility has just occurred to me that Fatricius might believe his Tall Tales of Manly Swag and might try to go perform cpr or first aid on someone who needs it. That entirely blameless person is likekely to die from Pat's lack of self-esteem. It could be worse, he could be on PBS teaching viewers how to rewire old farmhouses with info learned from his father. Hundreds could die.
