I've seen statistic from anywhere from 0.1% - 6% of men being rapists, and personally I would believe something closer to the higher total, especially depending on how we define rape/going into other forms of sexual assault. Which means that, while the likely hood of any single man a woman meets being a rapist is low, it is a statistical certainty that a women will eventually encounter a potentially dangerous man simply through regular interactions with men in general. So yes, the thought experiment does change when you specify a specific person, because it literally relies on the idea of the man being an unknown quantity to function.
Any individual man might be able to be trusted, but men as a class cannot. Every fucking society on earth has understood that to some degree except our apparently, even though we have evidence of it in every domain where men exist, from street thugs, to politicians, to police officers, to soldiers, to businessmen, to school teachers. Sorry, fellow dudes, but there will never be a point where there does not need to be some increased scrutiny around men. You can socialize and educate boys all you want, and there will still always be the chance that one of them (say a pornsick autistic with a fixation on periods, for example) will grow up to be a man that ignores all that and does something heinous because his development has provided him the tools to do so, ie. his upper body strength and his penis. This is not a cultural issue, it is a biological reality of our species.

They bring up the cases of the hypothetical passing tranny or pooner, and guess what, if they really are perfectly "stealth" then they'll be able to break the bathroom laws and nobody will notice. But troons and their enablers have created a scenario where woman can walk in and find a 6ft5 ogre in a dress with a raging hardon fishing for tapons in the trash, and be told that they are in the wrong for being uncomfortable.
It's an absurd and thoughless kneejerk way to view interactions between the sexes, one that ignores our reality as actual physical, biological organisms, and making laws and policy based on observable evidence, in favour of absract and contradictory concepts like "gender identity".
