Nickelodeon has released the trailer and key art for “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish.” The 20-episode series will premiere Monday, May 20 at 4:30 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon and will stream on Netflix internationally later this year.

According to an official logline, “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish” follows “ten-year-old Hazel Wells [who] has just moved to the big city of Dimmadelphia because of her dad’s new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it’s the first time she’s been without her brother, Antony, who’s just left for college, leaving her lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when the pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal that they are no ordinary neighbors…they’re Cosmo and Wanda, Fairy Godparents! And they’re coming out of retirement to make all of Hazel’s wishes come true.”

As previously reported by Variety, Ashleigh Crystal Hairston will voice Hazel while “Fairly OddParents” alums Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee will reprise their roles as Cosmo and Wanda, respectively.

The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation and co-executive produced by David Stone, Lindsay Katai, Hairston and Daniel Abramovici. Fred Seibert and Butch Hartman serve as executive producers. Production is overseen by Claudia Spinelli, senior vice president of TV series animation at Nickelodeon, and Kelley Gardner, vice president of current series animation at Nickelodeon. The series is overseen by Neil Wade.

The original “Fairly OddParents” ran on Nickelodeon for 10 seasons with 172 episodes between 2001-2017. The series also spawned three live-action films starring Drake Bell as a 23-year-old Timmy Turner. In 2022, Paramount+ released a live-action sequel series “Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder,” which saw Timmy gift Cosmo and Wanda to his cousin Viv (Audrey Grace Marshall) before he left for college.

Well Butch, I hope you enjoy your series getting bastardized. By agreeing to executive produce you deserve every bit of it.

so Butch gave up his Netflix For Jesus(tm) bullshit and crawled back to the real industry?

Wait a minute. Where's the dog? Where's the baby? I thought Cosmo and Wanda were given away by Timmy.

Why is one a nigger?
I genuinely enjoyed this cartoon when it first came out when I was younger. The jokes were cleverer that most cartoon shit.

Fairly OddParents is one of those shows you liked as a kid, only to go back and watch an episode for old times sake and realize it was always fucking garbage.
