You can tell he finds himself so interesting, because he drops these hints to other stories in the hope that the reader will peruse another of his godawful twitter threads. His metaphors suck, his pseudo-casual/conversational tone sucks. His entire ramblings conveyed no information and lent no credibility towards his thesis, a lede he buries with a “post script,” because the real point of the story was to brag about selling awful cars from one of the worst eras of American cars (at least post-UAW) to people who are obviously bad with money; all for a pittance.

That unending atrocity of an anecdote, by sheer virtue of length and unnecessary detail, suggests this shit is something fat is autistically passionate over. Something he unironically enjoys posting about for its own sake.
