1) they're big
2) men's leggings have a pocket I don't need
3) sweatpants are awful for working out
4) basketball shorts are dumb and men's sizes hit like gauchos on me
5) windpants/loose pants are 8 inches too long and I can't see what I'm doing
6) women's clothes are cut for a women's body
7) why?

As for cost, thanks to Amazon and our Far East overlords, cheap women's gear is plentiful.

Now, may I lighten the mood further (I have no idea wtf is happening here - we got pirates, natives(?), kangaroos, a camel in a suburb, snow, desert, beach, mountains, a poorly fitting tailcoat, a keffiyeh, a terrible high & tight...but it's on my workout Playlist, so topical). im sure there are plenty for who feeling confident and enjoyable isn't purely an aesthetic thing. feeling confident and that it's gonna be enjoyable because im wearing the right stuff is important for me when im hiking anyway. i also look good in my hiking clothes, ladies, but that's incidental. i hike alone go away thots
