Count me among the 'Kayla is corner demon' crowd, I don't think it's April primarily because Kayla is far too insecure and neurotic to be ok with Nick hanging out with a younger and less goblin looking woman while she sleeps in her bed. Unless ofc she is semi conscious 24/7 due to drugs and have no idea what is going on in the house.

ETA: I think the "wife" he goes to check on is actually April. If she is indeed a house guest, it makes a hell of a lot more sense to me that he is checking up on a drunk and/or high woman who is by herself in a room because she's in the midst of separating from her husband.

I'm here with a new theory, the corner demon is the former Nick. The Nick we are currently looking at is a balldo demon skin walking in his corpse. The real Nick is now a disembodied soul sitting in the corner.

I'd almost be offended after all the hard work Balldo's Gate and others have put in, but I think this says a lot about what people have come to expect from Nick now.

So let me get this straight, Rekieta has had the ceiling cats for a while now where he just looks up at the ceiling while talking for no discernible reason. DarksydePhil, also strangely has a habit of darting his eyes around when talking and looking into the corners of his streaming room, some detractors coining the term "demons in the corner" or "corner demons".
But it turns out Rekieta has a literal corner demon in the room with him?! What the fuck. WHY.
 
Regarding the corner demon:

Been puzzling over this for the last couple weeks. It would make the most sense if it was someone staying at the house. This narrows it down to Kayla, one of his (older?) kids, or April. There are a number of reasons why any of them wouldn't want to be seen on stream. Kayla embarrassed herself off of the show, meaning that now she can't openly take part in a defining aspect of her husband's life. It wouldn't be a good look for April to make appearances on Nick's show without her husband. Nick's kids would gain unwanted attention.

It is also possible that people in Nick's household are taking turns (or there's even more than one person at times) with the condition that they stay quiet and out of sight. In any case, they are a clear distraction for Nick.

As for his continued erratic behavior, Nick was antagonistic, keyed-up, "philosophical", and all around bizarre when he was on the choco-shrooms with Kayla at Hedonism II. If that is the way Nick is around his wife when he is on something, I can't imagine him being much better around anyone else.

Having a tard-wrangler/sounding board in the studio won't help much when the host is too drugged up to care (even less so if the corner demon wants to remain unheard and unseen). The best they can do is signal Nick to change topics as quickly as he can to avoid further embarrassment. Nothing preventative, just a bit of damage control.

It would also seem to confirm she has no additional records. At least nothing that resulted in a conviction. So, Nick likely isn't taking the case because she's in danger of losing her license.

Funny enough, this also means nobody would probably know about this now if Rekieta weren't her attorney. That's the only reason this was found.

Actually, there's a possibility you're gonna see less corner demon now.

One of the reasons this was kept largely quiet until now (save for some additional people beginning to notice in the thread a few days ago) is because there was a concern Nick would change his behavior in response to people noticing. Balldo's Gate took a few weeks to further analyze the cow in his (largely) unspoiled habitat.

I noticed the new accounts too but, as I stated earlier, and for the moment at least, I think they're Steel Toe detractors signing up for the Farms. It makes sense given what's been going on.

Still, always a good idea to be on guard.

My account did not exist at the time, but I remember that shit - the same person operating like 7-8 different accounts or something close to that, and they were even talking to each other. Most pathetic Gay Op ever.

If that were to happen again, I'm not even wasting any time. The moment I see any new account say anything that sounds like "well ya know, I don't like Nick either, but I think Elissa/Kalea/Cynthia blah blah blah" it's getting immediately reported, and somebody with more authority than I can be the judge. That was so stupid.
