this seems like a big generalization to me America has been in some wars that if you look back at them did noting or could see from the beginning they where just shit. but NATO is a different thing and you can only say its a waist because were not in the cold war anymore. but look at what's happening now. you can try appeasement and give Putin everything he wants but of course that will only incentivize him to keep doing it because this is not the first time he invaded a country to take some shit and what will you do next time because appeasement will guarantee a next time. if America chooses to do nothing now it will only become a bigger problem later and how much are you going to spend then. if you want America to look weak and nobody takes it seriously anymore then this is what America should do. im just saying it will become Americas problem eventually no matter Wat happens im just for sooner rather then later its cheaper too if you care about that sorta thing.

That's the thing, they think they can put the genie back in the bottle. It's not that simple, you're not going to memoryhole anything or re-write the narrative like during GG1. People learned their lesson, and archival tools are better and more accessible than ever.

It isn't a just about retard drama channels.

Microsoft and Sony will not likely run out of money. Microsoft is a juggernaut in the computer world and will not slow down or be stopped. The games division can be run at a loss as long as they want it to. Sony is also a juggernaut (in Japan) - electronics, music, movies - they've got a lot of fingers in a lot of pies and they can also run at a loss for nearly as long as they want.

Sony owns 21 major development studios and tons of IPs, Microsoft owns 23 and even more. Outside of Nintendo (which targets a specifically different audience and uses cheap hardware) most other video game companies that could possibly compete with Sony / Microsoft aren't in a position to do so (Blizzard/Acti was sold, Ubisoft is dying, Embracer is dying, Konami is a casino/mobile company) and won't ever be. A lot of these companies are also incestious and have stock and holdings in other companies as well. Most indie studios cannot compete with this at all (and have to use the major studios as publishers anyhow) so they're going to fall in line with what the major players dictate are the rules.

People like us not buying a game that we weren't going to buy anyway doesn't matter all that much - when millions of people gladly do it. The best thing to do is outreach and try and take that market segment away by directing it elsewhere - which is cringy but why people make videos/articles/etc about it and why there was a stream group for avoiding Sweet Baby games in the first place. Most people don't care about this stuff but nothing is going to change unless a large enough segment of people help to starve the beast.
 
I'd rather ignore the lot of these fucking morons and just go back to playing older games. By highlighting every dumb shit thing they've said, we're giving them attention they wouldn't otherwise have. Starve them of it.

All you have to do is highlight a few key posts of them lashing out at their audience, inform people of what projects they've worked on, and that's literally it. It's not that hard to ignore these fucks.
