You wanna know why Helldivers was such a smash hit? There's no injection politics aside from making fun of Our The Democracy™ (yes this actually pissed people off despite being a milquetoast satirical joke), you just shoot robots and bugs, nothing more nothing less.

I am planning to buy Battle Shapers because I heard it is Mega Man combined with DOOM. Should I?

See, that's because Helldivers 2 is something we like to call 'Fun', which isn't allowed anymore. Everything has to be a woke political talking point. Or have microtranactions up the ass.

Granted, at the rate things are going, I would not be surprised if DLC for the game introduces a third faction which are going to be something like, I dunno, shrieking alien cultists that are a thinly veiled proxy for woketards.

Aside from the culture war side of it, if I were a programmer, VFX artist, or QA tech and found out that a few dozen consultants were pulling a full salary for contributing essentially nothing, I would absolutely riot.
