In psychology terms, its called operant conditioning.
It is a learning process where voluntary behaviors are modified by association with the addition (or removal) of reward or aversive stimuli.

People were so bombarded by every form of media on the dire consequences of going without a mask that any mention of the "latest variant" sends people running to don their face diapers. Then when you see someone wearing a mask, you think that maybe you should wear yours too. And it spreads. Like a pandemic.

In other words, people are sheep.
AND YOU DON'T WANT TO KILL MEEMAW, DO YOU NIGGER?

Masks don't work to protect you from any disease, lmao. It's like wearing a sign that says "I'm a giant cowardly retard".
It's just wild to me - I remember reading articles in like 2018 where Western doctors exasperatedly debunked masks being effective for the 20th time, spelling it all out in black and white - that it was an Asian cultural thing but that study after study has shown zero efficacy at preventing viral spread. This shit was everywhere, and anyone who worked in the field was trained on what masks could and couldn't do.

Then one day it was heresy to say this, and it remained heresy even as all the reputable literature and research continued to show that masking had zero efficacy. But some retards are still using them. It really made me misanthropic - I expected people to be tribal and irrational about things like war or issues of class, but to extend that to basic immunology just blew my mind.

Some people have respiratory and autoimmune illnesses.

You should light up a cigarrette in front of them and start smoking it.
The weak should fear the strong.
