Bossman will absolutely 100% not intentionally kill himself. You can compare suicide to someone jumping out of a burning building, someone doesn't jump out of a burning building because they aren't afraid of falling 4 stories and smashing against the concrete they jump because the alternative feels inescapable and even less desirable.

Similarly people don't kill themselves because death doesn't scare them, it just became the more bearable alternative to life. There is no such thing as skilled-based games when it comes to gambling. Poker is the only exception and even then it's ultimately still gambling, doesn't matter how good someone is you are at the mercy of the cards you are dealt.

You can find guides online of when to hit/stand/double blackjack hands for best odds. He hates live games because you have to wait an agonizing 30-60 seconds for your bet to be completed.

100% skill based? No, but there are some that it plays a factor. Blackjack and poker both have pretty high levels of skill influence, but even with the best possible strategy the house still maintains an advantage.
