But even if that were true, and it wasn't some wish-fulfillment, it still fails in a storytelling perspective by committing the sin of a protagonist instantly being adored and fawned over, despite having overcome no conflict or demonstrating any kind of mastery or skill which would lead to other people liking him. It's just him showing up and them wanting the D to push him onto a bed and take off his shirt for non-sexual purposes.
He probably fills in that blank with "overcoming racism" or something. When black people realize someone doesn't like them they call it racism, which makes standing up to / conquering / winning them over a hero's journey worthy of anyone's time and attention. Most of the time it isn't even racism, it's just that all peoples resent forced social contact with blacks.
It's just "oh, our daughters don't have male guests over," and they throw themselves at him.
Why are they whores with a present father? And wouldn't they double-hate a half-Jap half-nigger like Elliott?

I’m gonna leave to this thread because your shitty limp dick owner @Null forgot to add the “delete your account button” and made fake ass threats of banning me on the site and deleting my thread because he lacks the power and balls to do so.
Agreed, we need way more screentime for bossmanjack on MATI. Anyone that disagrees with this is a low IQ rat that has a mother that I fucked last night.

I had a hunch this is why you were messing around in your settings. Not being able to delete things easily is a feature.

I’LL WRITE MY MANGA ON MY OWN ACCORD, I KNOW THAT’S IT’S GOOD AND THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS TO A MANGAKA, TO TELL THE STORY THAT THEY WANT TO TELL INSTEAD OF WRITING SHITTY FANFICS ABOUT A MINOR CHARACTER SO YOU GUYS CAN SUK HIS DONG!
That's what self publishing will allow you. Shueisha is not going to give you freedom to pursue anything without an editor's watchful eye. Especially if you are the """"writer"""" and they have to also staff actual talent to make your vision real.

*paragraph of seething*
Here's a couple of things I want to say, which I know you'll see because you're still going to lurk. Calm down and consider them:
  1. I know you're mad at me for the initial dox, but it legitemately just took a single Google search to find all that. The site also warned you at registration. In all honesty, your dox isn't even that bad. At most, it's cringey old shit, which really isn't anything crazy. It's not like you're a pedophile like @OrsonZedd, but I hope you take this as an important lesson in privacy and OPsec going forward.
  2. I know you're also mad about the leaking of the PDF. On the one hand, it's understandable to be mad. I did leak it, and as others have pointed out, you shouldn't have trusted me, especially since I dropped your intial dox. On the other hand, I will say that without us being able to see your script, people like Cedric couldn't have given you genuine critique. Memes aside, a lot of people here, including me offered you genuine advice. This was supposed to be a thread for that, no? Nobody will give your ideas a chance if you're going to paywall them. Take this as a lesson in who you should and shouldn't trust, but also consider that nobody will give your ideas a chance if you can't actually share them. Also, if you're as proud of your work as you claim to be in that post, I don't see why you would feel the need to hide your script.

Before you ragequit (for the 50th time), I gotta commend you on the grift @Monostar Leatherknuckles. Nigs will steal anything. Even Chris Chan's persona
God, this is so true. When will he marry his OCs and predict merges? Thank you, @Monostar Leatherknuckles for the chance to travel back to the 2000s. Your cringe Youtube channel, your whole branding, the delusional understanding of a "SUPA KAWAII MORNING" has made me young again. I actually put on my Code Geass wristband to make the journey complete.

As an amateur comic maker myself, I can kind of see why he'd be upset. The thought of all my information being leaked would be heartbreaking because many spoilers, lore, build-up, and scenes would all be released before I could show them properly.

However, what Leatherman showed us wasn't....much. There are no twists, crazy details, story destroying, and spoiling details being shared in that one chapter. Honestly, most books these days share the first chapter as a proof of concept. I think even sites like Amazon will let you read the first handful of pages to see if you'd like it.
The way our fren needs to look at it is like that. Nothing major was leaked, and it looked like it was still a draft at that (I think? There was no scene explaining details, so I dunno. Usually, people write what the characters are doing during the scene to pull it together, but he just had awkward dialogue.)

I hope that when he calms down, he takes your advice to heart. All your points are good and make sense. Comic-making is a long process, so he still has time to work it through and make something memorable.

I hope he takes that previous user's advice with the Webcomic thing, though. There's no shame in starting small. Eiichiro Oda's original Oneshot "Monster" is getting an anime adaption nearly 20+ years after it was made. It really shows that even rough ideas can be something great one day.

The PDF was a draft script with all the dialogue and also had panel by panel lay out plans for the first chapter. That isn't really spoiling the plot, and a first chapter is a good way to garner interest in your series. If he decides to pitch Red Mist to other places, he should share the PDF upfront in his first post, so anyone who wants to support him has enough material to provide feedback to him.

I'm an amateur in a completely different creative outlet and I see part of where he's coming from. On one hand he's wanting to drum up interest in this passion project of his, but then the flip-side of that is he came to the absolutely wrong place to do so. It can take courage to be vulnerable with the products of your creativity, which is exactly why it wasn't the greatest idea to just come blindly to a site you don't understand and spill your spaghetti all over the place. I don't even intend to say this in a mean way and instead factually: Monostar was too autistic to read the account creation warning, and he sure as hell was too autistic to understand the actual constructive criticism people were giving him, regardless of how spergy his OC is.

I can't believe you still don't understand the purpose and ethos of this site. That's entirely by design.

He doesn't have shit, not even the initial few pages of his biiiiiiig project he's been working on for oh so long.

It isn't even like you need to be some form of hyper artist to put your story to pictures, ONE published One Punch Man as a fucking webtoon that looked like the scribblings of a five year old, but it was fun enough to read that it gained traction regardless.

This guy has nothing, he has nebulous ideas in his head which he is under the impression Nintendo Shonen Jump will go out of their way to get, and not only that but give him complete creative freedom because it's just THAT GOOD.

I can't even call what happened a leak, I've shat out more elaborate worlds in 10 minutes to shitpost with friends than whatever this retard took "years" of work to produce for Red Mist.

Look at his bloody first post, it's literal crayon scribbles, an ugly badly drawn logo and two short paragraphs like he's a bigshot doing a super early tease, the two pages he posted after are fucking nothing, it's a character getting off a plane, why should I give a shit about a story where the first impression I get is a character walking off a plane? why would I even want to turn the page when there's no hook in the first pages? why do I need to see the exchange student getting off the plane first and foremost?

He could have idk, a fucking mad scientist experimenting in chingchongchangdingdong laboratory and going "yuessssssssssss yessssssssssss" while he pokes around a brain, it's the cheapest fucking hook imaginable but at least I'd want to turn the page to see what exactly is this insane asian mengele cackling about.

He can't even handle that, not even the first fucking page of his story, this nigga isn't even worthy of being called green, he's a seed that hasn't even been planted.

It’s intentional. Sometimes people sign up to the forum about discussing people who make a fool of themselves on the internet and make a fool of themselves. And this forum is for documenting the antics of people like this, we don’t delete accounts or threads, period.

You really should log off now because that wall of text is gonna be made fun of for years to come. This is definitely one of the Kiwi Farms funny moments of the times

Mono, I'm going to be completely honest with you here, as have many others: your life is not an anime. This isn't a shonen story designed to appeal to young boys. Believing in yourself, determination, and hard work are all good qualities to have, but there are some limitations that you simply can't overcome, and that's if you were truly dedicating your every waking moment towards this dream. I'm not convinced you are. I think it's more likely that you're passively consuming media, rather than watching with a critical eye or spending each day practicing fundamentals of art and continuously writing and rewriting your work.

While you might be upset that the users of this site make fun of your work or call you a niggerfaggot, this is a place that will give you true and honest criticism. When you show your work to your friends and family, they may offer suggestions, but they will praise you and that's not what you need. You need whatever you make to be torn apart again and again, even when it hurts, so that you can improve. If you shut out that criticism, even if you believe it to be overly-harsh or coming from a source that's racist or whatever, it will not benefit you in the long run.
I love it when we actually give objective, honest, kind, professional level advice, and are then promptly labeled HITLER HITLER HITLER HITLER SATAN SATAN SATAN.
