LEEDS, Alabama (AP) — A man crashed his car outside a Bass Pro Shop in Alabama, stripped down to his birthday suit and plunged into the giant aquarium inside the store, police said.

The ordeal happened Thursday night in front of shocked shoppers in the town just outside Birmingham, Leeds Police Chief Paul Irwin said.

The 42-year-old Alabama man did a “cannonball” leap into the aquarium and then stood under a waterfall. He left the water to yell at two officers, then dove back into the aquarium, police said.

The man eventually climbed over the side of the aquarium and fell to the concrete floor below. Police then apprehended him, the news site Al.com reported.

He faces several charges including public lewdness, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

The man was in the water for about five minutes before officers arrived, Irwin said.

The only way this could have possibly been better is if he screamed "NIGGERS!" while he was doing this.
 
The jury should judge the man innocent or guilty solely on the basis of how big cannonball splash was.

While finding this I found lots of older videos of people jumping into these aquariums, it seems like its a trend.
 
I'm surprised they made an article about this. This has happened many times before, but the SOP is to keep it out of the media as much as possible to avoid copycats. These aquariums are a pretty cool thing about these shops, it'd be a shame to see them go away because some dumbfuck decides to make this a TikTok challenge.

Why're you hatin on his todger like that? It's WINTER and it might not be the warmest in a gigantic warehouse containing an enormous, temperature controlled aquarium full of temperature sensitive fish. His fella probably shrunk up from the cold water, the cold air, and above all else, the butterflies in his stomach for what he's about to do.
