I need to work on this and pull out my dusty geometry optics book to see how to do the calculations, it's been a long time.
This is way too difficult, I realised I'll have to buy the sensor module and point a laser through a pinhole or some other dumb shit like that. I'm just not in the mood.
There are two interpretations of circle of confusion (CoC).
1. Acceptable largest blur spot perceived by human eye that's the same as a pinhole source, mainly for printing purposes.
2. (One I'm talking about) Blur spot produced by a lens which focuses imperfectly.
Don't know which, so does not matter. I think they're referring to 1).
I played around with this:
https://dofsimulator.net/en/?x=EAUAo-AlgEsCJFAkAAAQgAAAAGQ
The results are the same, the camera is shoved right up to the subject. Since MAN♂y decided to downscale and upscale photos "she" stole from a reddit user and add in noise artefacts, I'm willing to claim "she" intentionally caused defocus and downscaled to make it appear acceptable to the human eye. This is the 1) definition of CoC, at 4k resolution, "her" monitor closeup will be nasty.
Actually, I think the CoC adds to my case as well if we assume what's recorded refers to 1).
Oh, it definitely does.
So the sensor size is:
3.66x2.74mm, 4.57mm diagonal, or around 1/6'' sensor.
The CoC according to this calculator is:
The recorded one was nearly 10 times larger:
Circle Of Confusion : 0.025 mm
Note that the smaller CoC is, the more acceptable to the human eye the print will be.
If we assume 1) above, this means the confusion spot was 10 times larger than typical, ie the image was totally out of focus.
Why does it appear to be alright? Simple, "she" downscaled the 3264x2448px image to 334x250, around 10x.
Times that 0.025 by 1/10 and there, you get 0.0025, a far more acceptable (smaller) spot for the human eye.
Additionally:
There appears to be two rows of bleaching artefacts on the top and both sides as well, just not as pronounced. The bottom was more obvious. I'm guessing this is where the background canvas met the actual photo, ie:
Bottom line: Even this was a photo "she" took using "her" phone pointed to "her" monitor, I can't tell the gender. Could be a troon.
Shameful, Balldo. Very shameful.
You lusted after a catfish.
You claimed Our Wife would love to meet her.
You implicated some kind of threesome with Reddit nudes.
How very Christian.
