The accuracy of a statistic depends on how and where the data is gathered.
For instance, is it the entire world population, just the U.S. population, or a specific demographic such as 18-24 year-old middle-class white Americans? Each one will give vastly different statistics, yet all can be factually correct in their context. This variability leads to selective use of statistics to support specific agendas. HOw many time have you heard 'statistics show X' from both sides of an argument?

This also extends to academic research and peer-reviewed papers. In current year, statistics and study findings are treated like the gospel. You can safely dismiss most them when used in an ideological context and anyone demanding a study to back up your claim can fuck off.

You gotta remember that trannies are all terminally online, so they're disproportionately represented in online communities.

To give my own personal anecdote, despite every other person on twitter seemingly having the trans flag in their bio, I can count the number of troons I've met in person on one hand. Those online numbers just don't seem to translate into real life.

TBPH i've noticed this as well, and its gotten to the point where i'm convinced half the time its just young people or teenagers who are part of this social contagion, and want to be special online.For example, on twitter i noticed this one "non binary" woman on there who also claims to be a lesbian, and yet the photos i've seen of her are just a normal looking short haired lesbian.No matter the reason, its crazy how fast gender crazy young people have gotten.

I've noticed that about 90% of the time when a Redditor has a female name or "girl" etc. in their username, it's a tranny. All of the others are e-thots promoting their OnlyFans or whatever.

I suspect the few actual women on Reddit all have gender-neutral usernames, so as not to attract unwanted male attention.

My woke employer counts genderspecials as "diverse" for hiring/promoting purposes, like requiring at least one candidate to be some flavor of either a woman or genderblob. Could be they either want corporate gibs, or are just playing the game with a brutal job market.

That is and has been the real reason behind the "no girls on the internet" rule even though males also tend to have gender neutral usernames. Most people don't say "Hey I'm a <sex> here!" on their user names at all.

If they do have “girl” in their username, they’re either a troon, a bot, a troll, or a woman who’ll make you wish she was one of the 3 other possibilities.
