I know I'm quoting myself but I thought I'd do a short follow up. It's been two weeks since they crossed 5k signatures. They made a post on the 17th, saying that it'd had been two weeks since it started and they still had no reply from ConcernedApe. They then post a format e-mail where you can edit out a few things to bombard his mailbox.
Two things from this stick out. First is the gender neutral mod mentioned on Nexus, 40k downloads, made in 2016 and still updated today, changes the sex symbles to the ever confusing bodytype 1 and 2. (And they say that don't believe in Binary). The mod author also made a framework mod to insert custom pronouns. Which begs the question, if they can already mod in custom pronouns and shit, why start a petition and mass e-mail the developer over it?
And that's the second thing. This line highlighted in bold, "We know that you will do the right thing." As ever, it's about control and bullying to get what they want, even if it's already available. Stardew is already really open as a modded game, to the point where over the last few patches, Ape has given hooks and code base to mod developers to look over so they can integrate mods better. That's rare for a developer to do that. And of course trannies would want to co-opt that.

The fact they haven't gotten a response from ConcernedApe makes me thing he's coded a script to send all these emails to his trash bin so he can concentrate on actually doing shit and staying out of culture war BS.

Yeah, anything could happen in current clown world, but I really doubt my brother will troon out. He hates troons and recommended I watch "What is a woman?" shortly after it came out (He didn't know I already hated troons).

It sucks that we have to even worry about this shit though. I remember the days when guys used to make jokes by doing girly shit and it didn't mean anything. Idk about anyone else but at my old High School we had a day every year where the football players dressed up as cheerleaders and it was always considered guys just goofing off. Now if guys did this it would either be considered "transphobic" or you'd have other people saying it's egg cracking.

I feel like we'll never be able to go back to that kind of carefree humor again *sigh*

Not sure what you’re getting at here. Kemi Badenoch is the defendant because she’s the relevant minister in the UK Government. She’s a Tory ie a Conservative. She admitted she did something wrong and apologised for it. It’s on the public record so someone added it to her Wikipedia entry (I doubt she’s happy about it). Ryan is the applicant, ie the person on the opposite side. He’s bringing it up to shit-stir and make the defendant look bad. No boasting here.

Today was a hearing, the judgement won't be for several months. The legal world works slowly, it might be months after that before a decision is uploaded to bailii.org. It might never be, if it doesn't set a precedent and it's not considered interesting.

I sure hope so, Ape is a real one and deserves all the recognition he’s gotten for Stardew. I really hope he doesn’t fold.

Because the mod is an option and bullying the creator to put it in the game validates them. They need to have everyone play along so they don't get that creeping little voice of doubt in their head telling them "this is wrong" Genderspecials are worse then Tinkerbell when you say you don't believe in fairies.

I know I'm a bit late on this one, gang, so feel free to lob your clocks at me, but I was suddenly reminded that Caelan Conrad existed, and went to his channel to find this video, which asks, "Why do TERFs love Russell Brand?"


To which, my obvious response was,

I consider myself fairly active on TERFy online spaces and even before the rape allegations came out, I never saw anybody singing Russell's praises. If anything, in my experience, most of the women in those spaces found him irritating and unfunny. Now, he seems to be actively despised.

But Caelan, you see, following on from his groundbreaking undercover journalism pretending to be a woman online and joining a Facebook group, has blown the lid off of the radfem cult by providing screenshots of tweets!

I mean, yes, most of of these tweets have had their names and URLs redacted, so there's no way we can actually know who said it, or even if they were actually a radical feminist at all...

I know it's difficult, but keep the faith. The tide is turning the more troons demand and their pervertedness shows, they just can't help it considering a large number of them are borderline (or full) retard and mentally ill. They are hoisted by their own petard.
 


The way how someone treats staff in retail or hospitality is a very good indicator of a what type of person they actually are. A good judge of character would immediately spot red flags if they treated the employees like utter crap. Obviously this stunning and brave individual never had to work in hospitality before.

This creep is an entitled spanner for stressing out the waiters so he can get off on his "misgendering" fetish for his own amusement. I've worked in hospitality and have had to deal with cunty customers who think that they can verbally abuse servers and take them for granted. The behaviour often stems from never having to work in a sort of position and believing service workers are lower than them. Seriously, stop making workers' lives harder. They already have a million other things to deal with and are overworked and underpaid. You being a dick to employees only brings them more misery in their lives.
 
What I do love about the waiters misgendering this dude is how very little everyone, including the manager seems to care. You can just hear it in their sighs and voices they’re telling themselves to just say sorry before the tranny ma’am’s out and maybe harms people. With some you can actually tell the pause before the apology is them figuring out why a gay man should not be called Sir.
