For example the Tampa Bay Lightning are more popular in sunny warm Tampa bay than their awful NFL team (the Buccaneers)

Hockey is a fun sport to watch, and many people in the southern US I know have become recent hockey fans. The sport is growing. Limiting it to northerly climates will hinder the potential
Yeah and some people tried to do what I could call, a spin-off, like roller hockey where players use roller skates/inline skates instead of ice skates. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roller_hockey

Well, start of a new season is soon, I'm just gonna assume it's already a wash for my team - the Jets have resigned both Scheifele and Hellebuyck, both for 7 year, $59.5M contracts.

I like the Jets - even if at times Hellebuyck seems to be the only person on the roster who gives a shit - , but they're a team that's in need of a rebuild - the current roster has shown they can't win when it matters. Unless this was to give them appealing contracts to try and trade them for draft picks, I think this was a mistake - and if hat's not the play, at least I know how low o set my expectations for this season.

Bolts apparently won't have Big Cat Vasy for the first two months due to surgery but the backup seems to be promising.

I'm going to keep posting that it's the Cats year, but I'm exited to see if the Sabers can do anything cool.

Former Minnesota-born NHL player Adam Johnson (also of the LA Kings & Philadelphia Flyers organizations) has passed away today after taking a skate blade to the throat in the EIHL (Elite Ice Hockey League) in England today resulting in a tremendous amount of blood loss on the ice & his receiving of CPR on-ice as well. Here's a really shitty recording of the incident. RIP.

Really was the worst case scenario for an errant skate blade. Though, I doubt CPR would help with a slit neck.

Have we already passed the point where niggers can murder whites on national tv and cleanly get away with it? Will they even entertain the idea that it was intentional or is this negro just beyond accusation?

Everyone is calling it a 'freak accident'
The only thing freak about it is the violent nigger lifting his leg up like a kick intentionally.
I tend to agree.

I've never seen a skate blade go that high in hockey.
He's going to get away with it cause society can't ask questions about what happened here.

It's Bri'ain we're talking about, so, yes. "Oi, bruv, you got a loicense for that jugulah?"

A quick look at Petgrave's stats shows that he's a typical goon, racking up penalty minutes in the mid hundreds. He's known for low impulse-control and violent shenanigans, surprise surprise.

Not Everyone Appears to be a Fan of ... Matt Petgrave

So that you don't have to read the ad-infested shitsite:

Petgrave's only problem seems to be with referees and linesmen.

He has been booted out of two out of the last four games, for abuse of officials (against Coventry Blaze) and alleged spearing (Manchester Storm,) and is Sheffield's top penalty-minute taker (71 in 11 games.)

Across the EIHL regular league, as a whole, nobody comes close to his penalty minutes tally.

"The spear? We have never seen any video of it, one player in our group saw it as Matt standing there and a guy skated into him. There was no spear at all. You lose a guy for a game for that?

"The other one was something (written complaint) that we sent to the league, there was a high stick in front of the ref and it drew blood, no call...obviously he gets animated and gets thrown out of the hockey game."

"Are there times when he needs to tone it down? Yeah, maybe.

"But sometimes what makes players great is that edge they play with."

Go figure: Niggers bitch about ice hockey for being too white, they import an ape on ice skates and then you see said ape with a violence history on the ice murdering another player.

I watched more than my fair share of hockey games and this was no freak accident: I hope Petgrave literally goes to the grave for his intentional manslaughter of Adam Johnson
