That's an interesting point. I have a feeling he might have looked up conventions he's wanted to go to, only to find he's on a ban list. Nothing got his bent duck harder than going to a convention and basking in people coming up to him and squealing "It's Chris Chan OMG!"

Maybe, but he's not recording from his bedroom a.k.a. the Sonichu Temple in the basement of 14 Branchland Ct. The video echoes too much so it's a smaller space. Unless he's just hung up green sheet behind him in the bathroom and he's recording it while sitting on the shitter.

Is there a chance that he's in some kind of halfway house? Or failing that he's not been allowed back home for... reasons?

oh yeah. the fucking phone call where he says he has a new lover but he can't tell anyone who it is but they're very close and chris has known them for many years and how they're over the age of 50 and he has the books about how to make love with disabled elderly people.

I don't think Chris would have been chased around Charlottesville and kept in jail for 2 years for vaguely insinuating online he fucked his mother. There had to be some sort of proof.
